Promo bits for Stranger Things season 2 are beginning to emerge. Like this Stranger Things season 2 news report, for instance. This all means we're not far off from the inevitable set photos and a potential teaser. Well, until either of those appear online, we'll keep this latest news concerning season 1's heroine strictly in the rumour file.
According to TV Line's sources the sophomore season will mark the return of Eleven. The youngster, played by Millie Bobby Brown, was last seen battling the Demogorgon and then getting whipped away to.... I dunno, another dimension? While it was rather heart-wrenching to see her sacrifice herself for her friends (alright, I cried a bit!), it's not the biggest surprise to hear that she's back. Plus, when we spoke to cast members Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin) and Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas) , they definitely didn't think we'd seen the last of her.
Written by Matt and Ross Duffer, starring Noah Schnapps, Joe Keery, Sadie Sink, David Harbour, and Dacre Montgomery, Stranger Things season 2 will be released on Netflix in 2017.
