Stranger Things might've been a streaming show... but unlike other streaming shows that have been lost forever due to a lack of a physical media release, Netflix is giving us the entire nine-year run across 25 discs.
Per the official press release, the complete box set (which has some pretty nifty artwork that appears to show the cast throughout the seasons) includes bloopers, never-before-seen interviews with the cast and crew, behind-the-scenes featurettes, a 148-page booklet, 25 art cards from all five seasons, a Hellfire Club patch, Hellfire Club D20 dice, double-sided posters for each season, a Palace Arcade token, a double-sided foldout map of Hawkins, ... and "much more," apparently.
Between this release and the upcoming animated canon series Tales from '85, which makes up for some lost time between seasons 2 and 3, we still have a lot more Stranger Things to enjoy, despite it all coming to a close on New Year's Day.
"We always dreamed that Stranger Things could be owned in its entirety," Matt and Ross Duffer said in a statement. "Not just as a collector’s set, but as a way to preserve the show for decades to come." Fans can preorder the collection now, which is set to arrive in July. The Deluxe Blu-ray Edition retails for $249.99 (which is £199.99 in the UK).
For even more Stranger Things, tickets for the Stranger Things: Tales of '85 theatrical release are on sale now at AMC Theatres in North America. While we wait, check out our picks of the best shows on Netflix, and keep up with new shows heading your way.
