Tom Holland has become somewhat notorious for revealing spoilers from Marvel movies ahead of their release. These have included sharing the Infinity War poster live on social media, confirming the original Spider-Man movies were a trilogy, and revealing that his character goes to space in Infinity War.
However, none of these are the moments that Holland regrets the most. In a new interview, the Spider-Man star was asked which spoiler he regrets the most, and he revealed his wish for a do-over with one particular screening moment.
"Yeah, I remember when Infinity War was coming out, Kevin Feige, the legend, always does this thing where he rents a party bus, and we drive around LA, and we surprise fans in the first opening night screenings," Holland told Complex at the Spider-Man: Brand New Day premiere.
"And I thought that we were walking into a room of people that had seen the movie; I thought the movie had ended. And I walked on stage, and I said, 'Don't worry everybody, I'm still alive.' And there was this huge collective sigh, and I was like, 'Wow, I thought that was gonna get a bigger reaction.'"
Holland went on to reveal he looked over at Feige, who was gesturing at him to get off the stage afterwards. At the end of Infinity War, Spider-Man is one of the victims of Thanos' snap, disintegrating into ash in Tony Stark's arms. Of course, he does make a big return in Avengers: Endgame, emerging straight onto the battlefield with his other snapped comrades, but this is a massive spoiler.
Thankfully, Holland has been able to keep a few more secrets ahead of the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. At the moment, we still don't know who Sadie Sink is playing or who the villain is.
