Fans of really fast old school shooters rejoice as Doom's Unto the Evil DLC is here, with new maps, gear and another playable demon to try and take down.
The new maps are Offering, Cataclysm, and Ritual - a hell level, a hell-meets science lab mash up, and a sort of industrialised sacrifice altar respectively. The new gear includes a UAC EMG Pistol, Kinetic mine and a whole heap of new armour and taunts. On the demonic front the Harvester joins the Revenant as a another playable character to fight over/with.
This DLC is also introducing the PartyPlay system which, and I quote, "allows anyone to play any of the new maps from Unto the Evil, as long as you party up with a friend who owns the DLC". That's pretty cool. And there's also a double XP weekend that'll last until August 8, at 12pm ET.
