There is something about Alan Rickman as Professor Severus Snape that makes us grateful we never had to study potions at school.
In a new featurette that's just landed online, director David Yates gives his opinion on Rickman's performance as Snape in Harry's reveal scene in Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2.
The way his emotionless face hardly moves as each dragged-out word threatens the group of children in the Great Hall is simply terrifying.
The pauses between every...single...word makes it seem like he is thinking very carefully about precisely which words will chill the students to the core.
Alan Rickman may not have much screen time, but when he does, he definitely makes the most of it, ensuring his presence is felt throughout the entire film.
