Hunk alert! Bradley Cooper has signed on to star opposite Ryan Gosling in The Place Beyond The Pines , a teaming of Hollywood hunks that should surely cause the Earth’s plates to shift.
Gosling will play a motorcycle stunt rider who turns to a life of bank robbing in order to support his baby.
Meanwhile, Cooper’s the rookie cop who bumps into the robber – no doubt after being tasked with bringing him down.
The film’s being directed by Derek Cianfrance, who spent years preparing his devastatingly affecting relationship drama Blue Valentine .
Gosling worked on that film as well, and it’s no surprise he’s keen to re-team with Cianfrance - Valentine contains one of the actor's most accomplished screen performances.
Next up for Cooper is the role of Lucifer in Alex Proyas’ Paradise Lost , while he’s also tangoing with the idea of heading up the remake of The Crow.
