Blacklight: Retribution's open beta has been live less than a month, but already the game's racked up some 13,000,000 in-game deaths. Broken down on a deaths-per-day basis, that makes Blacklight: Retribution one of the bloodiest conflicts in history – in fact, if you added up the deaths-per-day of both World Wars and added the daily bodycount of the American Civil War, you still wouldn't come close. That's just one of the statistics shared in publisher Perfect World's new “By the Numbers” clip.
Available to join now, Blacklight: Retribution's open beta precedes the game's full release later in the year. However, Perfect World hopes to keep the game racking up big numbers like those revealed in the trailer above by releasing the game free-to-play, as is the style of our time. Check our Blacklight: Retribution hands-on preview from last year, or head to the beta signup page and start adding to the game's ever-growing kill-count for yourself.
