Street Fighter 5 added a new batch of costumes this week, and it's quite the mix for Capcom's most famous fighters. There's school uniforms (and not just for the ladies), a sexy swimsuit, a few throwbacks to the Street Fighters of yesteryear, spook-tacular Halloween garb, and... Chun-Li wearing Crocs.
I know, it's weird. Let's take a closer look.
While Cammy also has the option to don her alternate costume from Street Fighter 4 once more, as well as the outfit she wore while she was a member of M. Bison's Dolls - an elite squad of deadly women brainwashed and sworn to protect the monstrous dictator.
Meanwhile, with Halloween around the corner, it makes sense that the Street Fighter 5 cast would start to get in the spirit. So Dhalsim, M. Bison, Urien, Birdie, and F.A.N.G are dressing up as a mummy, demon, a different Street Fighter character, butcher, and mad scientist, respectively. In case you don't recognize Urien's outfit, he's dressed up as Gill, the final boss from Street Fighter 3 (and, coincidentally, Urien's brother).
Last but not least we have Chun-Li, who gets three costumes. Two of these costumes are fine. One of them is... fine, but with a question mark at the end. The first show Chun-Li in her civilian clothes, from her days as an undercover INTERPOL agent.
The second shows off Li's figure with a somewhat skimpy swimsuit.
The last one is supposed to be Chun-Li in her sleepwear but who wears an apron and Crocs to bed? Note: they may not officially be Crocs, but come on. Those are Crocs.
