The Professor Layton series has proven itself to be a valuable feather in Level-5's silk top hat. This week, the studio announced that it has moved over 11.47 million shipments of its Professor Layton series, with the latest North American entry - Professor Layton and the Unwound Future - accounting for nearly 2 million sales alone.
The totals are an accumulation of shipments worldwide, factoring in the three released titles for the DS in North America and Professor Layton and the Specter's Flute, which never made it overseas (yet...?). In celebration of its success, Level-5 staffers are inviting fans to join them for a live webcast on February 24th. The event will feature interviews with the series' voice cast and Level-5's CEO Akihiro Hino, as well as promote its upcoming 3DS sequel, Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle, which will launch with the 3DS in Japan on February 26th.
A link to the event will be posted soon at the Mask of Miracle's official site.
