Now here's an idea - game loyalty rewarded with cheaper sequels

System 3 is rewarding existing owners of Ferrari Challenge on PS3 by reducing the cost of its sequel, Ferrari: The Race Experience for its release on PSN tomorrow. It's not a massive reduction in price, as fans get it for £9.99 instead of £11.99, but a lot of companies would do well to follow their example.

Presumably the PS Store will scan your hard drive for game saves or even the presence of the game disc before you pay. However it works, it's a great idea, and we'd love to see it applied to other games, especially big series like FIFA, Call of Duty or Street Fighter.
