Nina Leaving Being Human Too

Actress Sinead Keenan confirms her departure on Twitter

With the BBC media machine gearing up for the launch of the new series of Being Human , the latest piece of news about the long-awaited series four concerns our pregnant werewolf, played by actress Sinead Keenan.

Speaking on her Twitter account , Sinead told fans that she too was following cast-members Aidan Turner and Russell Tovey and leaving the BAFTA-winning BBC Three show.

In a series of tweets she said: “It’s with a very heavy heart and a little relief that I can now tell you that I will not be appearing in series four of Being Human . I cannot tell you how difficult it was to make the decision to leave. I’ve had three wonderful years on BH, some of the best I’ve had in my acting career.

“I was asked not to say anything about my departure by the Powers That Be, which I dutifully adhered to for months, hence my sporadic tweeting, but now the press pack has been released it seems the story is out. I want to thank you all so much for your wonderful support over the three season. I hope you all continue to enjoy Being Human and that we’ll meet again very soon on some other great TV adventure.”

Shortly after the statement, which ran to an epic seven tweets, Keenan took to text again to say thank you for the kind comments she’d had from fellow tweeters, and added: ‘For those of you asking, I believe my departure happens offscreen. I haven’t filmed anything for series four.”
