Joe Danger: Special Edition getting free Santa DLC

'Tis the season for festive DLC, and Hello Games is getting in on the action by giving Joe Danger: Special Edition owners a free serving of Santa Danger and his Christmas QuadBike on December 21. See how Ol' Saint Nick handles the track in this DLC preview.

More than just a decorative skin, the holiday DLC will swap coins for presents and challenge players with learning a whole new vehicle in the form of Santa Danger's Christmas Quadbike.

"I think of the Quad bike a bit like unlocking Luigi in Mario Galaxy," explained Hello Games founder Sean Murray in a press release. "Suddenly the controls and handling are different, and every level has to be relearned and replayed. The ATV is faster for instance, but very bouncy."

The free DLC will only be available on XBLA for a limited time, as Hello Games claims, “Santa disappears after Christmas and so does the awesome ATV!!

Joe Danger: Special Edition was released on December 14 as an exclusive for Xbox 360 daredevils. A sequel, Joe Danger: The Movie, is currently in development.
