Polyphony Digital has revealed the contents of its first DLC for Gran Turismo 5. On October 18, digital car junkies will be able to slap down their cash for four separate packs containing new tracks, cars, racing gear and paint colors; or one giant combo pack containing every downloadable goodie.
First up is the Course Pack for $4.99, which will contain two new tracks: the Formula One Belgian Gran Prix's Spa-Francorchamps course with weather effects, and a night-time kart track with multiple layouts. Secondly, the Racing Car Pack will retail for $7.99 and feature fifteen new vehicles including the Red Bull X2011, multiple touring cars, and racing karts. Perfect for gearheads, the Racing Gear Pack will sell for $2.99 and contain over 90 new items like branded racing suits, helmets and other equipment. Lastly, the Paint Pack will be put up for $1.99 and offer 100 new colors for increased vehicle customization.
Superfans will also be able to nab all four DLC gift bags together in a Complete Pack, which will sell for $11.99.
Details of Polyphony Digital's first DLC content for Gran Turismo 5 follows today's release of the Spec 2.0 update, which added a new opening movie, simplified cockpit views, an improved online lounge, new vehicles and a ton of fresh gameplay options.
