A first clip from gambling thriller Runner Runner has been released, and it's all about showing off Ben Affleck as a rich guy who owns a boat.
In what feels like a canny marketing move to capitalise on Affleck's recent casting as Batman , the clip has a faint whiff of Bruce Wayne about it as Affleck's mogul chats with Justin Timberlake.
Not least because Affleck's character is ridiculously rich - though a few shades more corrupt than the Wayne we know and love.

As a clip from Runner Runner , it's not massively interesting (though the trailer's pretty fun) . As an insight into just how Affleck might tackle the role of Bruce Wayne, though, this clip's a must-watch.
Directed by Brad Furman ( The Lincoln Lawyer ), Runner Runner follows grad student Richie (Timberlake), who's seduced into the world of gambling by mega-rich Ivan (Affleck).
