GR: Okay, you became famous from a YouTube clip that circulated around from an inventor show.
MG: Ohhh, American Inventor….
MG: Oh yeah! Well, the four judges there obviously turned me down, but it’s a Simon Cowell production. And he actually told us before it even started, he said that: “It’s really not about your game. It’s about television ratings.”
GR: And I heard that all those [judges] got fired in the next season anyway, so AHA!
MG: Yes! We kept right on going. We’re actually inside – now get this: We’re actually inside the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, RIC, which is the #1 rehab institute in the world. For the last seventeen years. And they actually use BulletBall as a therapeutic and recreational tool.
GR: I love a good vindication story! So we were writing about the iPad recently, and we said BulletBall’s probably a good game for the iPad.
MG: Yes!
GR: And I could not agree more.
MG: Me too!
GR: And I say iPad, but iPhone, iPod Touch too. They all have multi-touch capabilities. You’ve got two Wii Remotes…
MG: Right!
GR: We wanted to find out if we could jazz it up for a game. Do you have plans to turn BulletBall into a videogame?
MG: That has been part of our plan… to look at how we can move into the videogame venue.

GR: We have some suggestions here. What do you think about power-ups for the Bulletballs?
MG: Power-ups? I don’t know what that is.
GR: Like, what if one could turn into a turtle shell and run across the table. What if one could catch fire?!
MG: Oh.
GR: And what if another one could slice off the arm or the wrist – in the game - of one of the other opponents, leaving somebody with one hand?
MG: With one hand? And they still have to play?
GR: Yeah.
MG: Oh, man we are open to all…. We understand that that whole videogame thing – it just opens up a completely new market.
GR: Couldn’t agree more. I think one of the things that scares people away from BulletBall is that it’s big - it’s hard to carry around?
MG: Yes. But we also have a table top version. That is not the full version, it’s just the table top.
