Assassin's Creed III's Connor (aka Ratohnhaké:ton) may wear the Order's robe and perch on rooftops, but that doesn't mean he's a clone of his Animus ancestors. In fact, as these newly leaked screenshots from Ubisoft's sequel suggest, Ezio and Altair could learn a lot about rocking the Tomahawk and pistol from their 18th century descendant. See for yourself in the gallery above.
The new images were spotted on NeoGAF and look to be a mix of CGI stills and touched-up screenshots. Regardless, if the final build is anything like the images depicted – and Ubisoft is being truthful when it says this game has been in development for nearly three years (read: Assassin's Creed III coming October 30) – fans are in for a treat.
This week, Ubisoft revealed Assassin's Creed III's multiplayer was assigned to Ubisoft Annecy, the same studio responsible for crafting the frag modes in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and contributing to the multiplayer in Assassin's Creed: Revelations. If these single player campaign images are any indication, we can expect equally pretty things from Connor's online adventures.
Assassin's Creed III is in development for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC for an October 30 release in North America, followed by an October 31 arrival in the UK. There's a Wii U version in the works too, though that doesn't have a release date yet.
