Comic-Con International has announced the 2022 Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards nominees, with DC Comics and Image Comics landing the most nominations overall. DC boasts a whopping 15 (with seven shared), and Image comes in right behind with 14. Nightwing boasts the most nominations for DC (five total), and Destroy All Monsters leads the Image pack with three nominations.

Across 32 nomination categories, over 150 titles and 65 publishers are represented, including independent creators and small press houses. A wide range of creators are also represented, with James Tynion IV securing a total of five, the most for any individual on this year's list.
