The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

New Oblivion download revealed

Bethesda confirms Fighter's Stronghold in the works

In an interview with GamesRadar, Bethesda's Pete Hines, vice president for PR and marketing, has revealed that one of the next pieces of downloadable content for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be a Fighter's Stronghold. This would follow in the same style as the previously released Thieves Den and Vile Lair plugins, but offering you a more noble pad to kick your heels in.

Above: Where in beautiful Tamriel will the Stronghold call home?

It's more than likely that this stronghold will be the Dragonfire Castle, a fortification that's long been rumored as making its way to Cyrodiil's landscape. If that's the case, then you can look forward to enjoying a huge fortress that boasts a wine cellar, skill-boosting forge room and even a taxidermist. If you missed out on the interview, you can find it on the PS3 Movies tab from February 14.
