I tried Salem. I was excited about this game once. Its overly complicated, the controls are pretty horrible and the menu system completly confusing and out of wack. I really hope they get things fixed because the idea is great. Cant wait for Age of Darkness! Guild Wars 2 was so boring. I never made it past level 24. Open world pvp is where its at. I like to be afraid of leveling up.

Wow. I never realized how many there were. It's too bad I'm such a big fan of MMOs, because now a lot of games will be neglected! I am definitely the most excited for ESO and Wildstar, but a little less so for the former now that I know it CAN'T be played first-person and might be too much like WoW. Hell, ALL of these could be. Blade and Soul, Pathfinder, Age of Wushu, and Otherworld seem pretty cool, too. Just need to know more on them, Hell, I STILL play WoW and Guild Wars 2. Sometimes even SWTOR. Time to say goodbye to my friends and schooling....

I've been playing the Defiance beta/alpha and it's been a ton of fun. It's been very refreshing to play an MMO that has the player actively playing. It's pretty much a third person MMO with little in the way of an rpg, but it's still a lot of fun. The one thing that stands out is how interesting the story is. I may be biased because I actually live right in the backyard of where the game takes place, but seeing a story that revolves around a very different real world Bay Area is pretty nifty. It's probably the MMO I am most looking forward to right now. Repopulation seems interesting. I am always more interested in sci-fi MMO's than fantasy, and I like the idea that you aren't shoehorned into doing any one particular thing and can engage in an assortment of activities. Pathfinder also sounds very interesting. I like the idea of an MMO sim of sorts like what they're doing, with player constructed cities and societies. I'll certainly be giving ESO a look. Signed up for the beta, hoping to get in so I can give the game a chance to decide if it's worth picking up when it comes out.
