Rockstar hard at work on GTA V, promises more info soon

Sequel will be R*'s “largest and most ambitious open world game” yet

Rockstar has told fans it'll “be talking much more about GTA 5” in a few months' time, asking for calm until it's ready to start revealing further information. In an Asked and Answered session that also saw the company allow for the possibility of a future LA Noire sequel, the company promised fans that it was “very hard at work on the game and excited as well to show and tell you more.”

No details as to the game's release window have been made public yet, leaving analysts to give the title a fairly broad window of “sometime between now and 2014.” The company's told investors it expects the financial year of 2013 to be one of its best ever – which is a pretty good time to release what Rockstar calls “the largest and most ambitious open world game we’ve ever created.”

I want to know when this game will come out. I want it so bad. I am a Grand Theft Auto "GTA" game lover. People are telling that this game is already available for PS3 Platform, and another one is that it'll probably come out on May 2012, but I'm unsure about it. I need some information. Anybody with info, ps, let me know. Thanks.

Zaavi.com have the game released for 21 November 2012. I think Rockstar are going for the Christmas market this year, usually Grand Theft Auto come out between March-May but this year Max Payne 3 will be released so yeah I think Grand Theft Auto V will be released on 21 November 2012.

What can they possibly do apart from making the city enormous? That you can go in every building, or the city builds new areas over time, or other player's live in your city too?

Voice acting has always be Rockstar's thing. Giving the civilians thousands of lines of voice acting, having them have random conversations on the sidewalk would do wonders for immersion. They've done this since San Andreas, people just haven't really noticed it.

Better be released at the BEGINNING of 2013, not the Fall. I can't wait for GTA V and I REALLY hope that it keeps 16 player multiplayer, maybe even campaign co-op

IIRC, technically fiscal years for these major companies begin in April, therefore the 2013 fiscal year is from April 2013-March 2014.
