Remember Me trailer spotlights enemies

Capcom has released a new Remember Me trailer showcasing the game’s enemies. Set in a futuristic surveillance society called Neo-Paris in the year 2084, the fresh IP is a third-person action game which sees players step into the role of Nilin, who we identified last year as one of the most interesting new stars of upcoming games. She’s a former “memory hunter” who’s had her own wiped and is on a mission to retrieve it; during the story she’ll start re-learning all the fighting moves and combos that once made her so formidable.

Earlier this year we caught up with a number of developers at Dontnod Entertainment to discuss the game, its unique location, and plenty more in this Remember Me interview. Capcom recently confirmed a Remember Me release date of June 4 in North America and June 7 in Europe.

At first the game seemed like a second-rate Watch Dogs but now it seems like a second-rate DMC, and that's a very good thing. Actually, it looks better than DMC.

I bet she wiped her memory herself somehow after some trauma left her with particularly painful memories. And then, she couldn't stop herself from trying to figure out why she can't remember things.

OH, OR the people she works for wiped her memory after she found out something bad about them, like they were corrupt or something! I swear if the plot isn't like one of those things I'll be genuinely impressed...maybe.

That's the problem though, isn't it? Even twist endings are becoming cliche and easy to predict.

I really hope this ends up being good. This is probably thing last thing I'm excited for in this generation.
