PokemonRadar: week four

Welcome to the fourth installment of GamesRadar's weekly feature, PokemonRadar. Every week we'll take a detailed look at a handful of the new Diamond and Pearl Pokemon, highlighting them with screens and movies. Every week we'll pick a "star" Pokemon of the week to highlight, too!

This week we're looking at four Pokemon with three evolutionary phases. You'll have to wait a bit to see their evolved forms, though, as next week we’ll be looking at some of the unique Pokemon that have only a single evolutionary stage.

Now, to the Pokemon!

Pokemon Name: Mukkuru
Type: Normal / Flying
Classification: Gray Starling
Pokedex Number: 010 Sinnoh / 396National
Abilities: Keen Eye – Accuracy can’t be lowered.
Location Found: Various
Useful Attacks: Wing Attack

If Bippa is Sinnoh's Rattata, then Mukkuru is its Pidgey. Sinnoh is positively infested with these affable avians, but that's OK because it's a pretty good Flying-type Pokemon and there aren't many of those living in this mountainous region. Not only does it have respectable Attack and Speed stats, these birds learn some powerful attacks as they progress through their three evolutionary stages.
