Podcast: TalkRadar UK #56

Listen now...

Greetings and welcome to TalkRadar UK's 56th episode. Leading the charge across all things game-related are Meiks, Dave H and Nathan as Cundy recovers from a severe bout of gut rot. Eugh.

So what can you expect from this week's packed show? All this and a bit more...

- The news!: In fact, that's a lie. There wasn't any because on the day we recorded everyone was gearing up for TGS so we leap straight into...

- What we've been playing!: Meik's discusses his experiences with Halo Reach and Dave H is working his way through PS3's back catalogue.

- Appreciation section!: Dave H is on the pedastal today with his choice, Snowboard Kids. A game he claims is a better racer than Mario Kart on N64. Yikes! What do you reckon?

- Question of the Week!: Where we discuss your answers to the question... Do you think that gaming shows deserve a place on national TV or have they had their day already?

- GamesRadar Hotline!: We field your questions sent to us through the medium of text messaging.

- More, more, more!: <---- what that bit says.

Ya man Snowboard Kids was great! I just hooked my N64 back up for a little Mario Kart action but I might have to hit the flea market and pick up Dave H's pick now. Any other great ideas for classic, must-have games?

Great podcast once again and an interesting question of the week. Enjoyed listening to debate on whether or not there is room for a games show on tv. I'd be more then happy if gamesmaster came back :D Snowboard kids I have not played, I shall use the power of my emulator to give it a shot.

Sorry for sounding bothersome, but it's really difficult for me to answer the QotW for TRUK, just because I'm in the US. I either have to stay up really late Tues. night or wake up really early Weds. morning to see if it's up. Is there a reason why you guys don't post it a week in advance like TR US, instead of right before you record the podcast?

My God that game looks good. Why isn't it on the Wii?

oh wow freaking nostalgia trip guys. Playing Snowboard kids at my cousin's house on Thanksgiving. All the grown ups are watching football and drinking, us kids? N64 for hours on end until I had to leave. I love that game and this podcast made me a happy man. Thanks 'radar UK!

@510BrotherPanda We'll try and make more of an effort to post the question a full 24 hours before we record the podcast on Twitter and Facebook. How's that for you? Apologies for any inconvenience.

When I first played that game, the thing that stuck with me most was the Big Snowman tune, and it's just as awesome today. A rave remix might be in order...cheers for reminding me.
