New Twisted Metal trailer introduces Dollface

Fans of the Twisted Metal franchise know that the white-knuckle, adrenaline-pumping action is only a small portion of the formula. The twisted characters are a big part of the experience, each with their own motives and disturbing histories. As promised in yesterday’s post by David Jaffe, a new trailer has been released for the upcoming PlayStation 3 iteration of the game that lifts the curtain on Dollface, the misfit ex-model that we fell in love with in Twisted Metal Black.

The more we see of Twisted Metal, the less upset we are about the delay. It’s not that it looks bad—far from it, it looks fantastic, and we’d rather the developer take a few extra months to make sure it’s everything we’ve ever dreamed of. We’re already brainstorming excuses to tell our significant others as to why we can’t go out to a fancy dinner on the game’s February 14 release date. Some might be cool with the truth, but not everyone’s boyfriend/girlfriend will be happy with, “But sweetie, I need to drive around in an Ice Cream Truck and blow up cars!”

Meh. I dislike the clan theme of this Twisted Metal. Also, Dollface's original story was just fine. She was young, but she could still drive, so no problems there.

I dont know if the clan theme is mp only but I agree with you. The reason why these characters are so great is because there so messed up in there unique ways, and having a sidekick that tries to replicate them kinda takes some of that away. Also Dollface's original story was imo a lot better, because its been like more than a decade since I saw that scene where her mark was nailed to her head, and still remember it vividly.

Wow. Looks like they are really going back to the TM2 roots. A must buy for me when I pick up a PS3
