New Super Luigi U cheats

So you probably already know that you can play as Nabbit in New Super Luigi U's multiplayer mode. But did you know you can play as him in Single-player too? Which is a huge help if you're having trouble, since Nabbit is invincible after all.

To do so, you simply need to hold down the correct button on the World Map as you select any level. But the exact button that you need to hold will depend on the controller you're using. If you're playing with a GamePad or Wii U Pro Controller, simply hold down the ZL-button as you select the level. But if you're using the Wii Remote, hold the B-Button instead.

In either case, you'll know if you did it correctly right away as Luigi's head will be replaced by Nabbit's on the level-loading screen.

Now that you know how to play as Nabbit, you can also play as your Mii as well using the same cheat. Your Mii is only playable on the one level that Nabbit is not, which is Super Star Road 9 Flying Squirrel Evasion, unlocked for finding every star coin from the first 81 levels. You can even see how you would look as Luigi once you reach the end of the level.

I would give the game a 6 or a 7. It does what it is supposed to but every level is limited to 100 seconds. I enjoy taking my time 100% every Mario game and exploring everything but they don't give you a chance to explore at all. They should have made the second play-through dependent on the clock.

That may be true but they otherwise gave the series a rush spur along with the already difficult levels. Perse, they gave the series a different feel from the usual Mario.Bros formula especially with the game acknowledging Luigi's new physics and outright building level design around it. Plus having to find the "Hidden Luigi" in every single level is pretty much your "explore"

Its nice that this kind of stuff is still included in the game, but why would I even WANT to be invincible in single player?

No clue. I understand why they added the character into multiplayer though. Nintendo wants to have Mario be everyone's first game. And they want to make it easier to get your child into gaming, by allowing you to play the game as you normally would, while your child runs behind you as Nabbit, not having to worry about power ups or getting killed by the enemies. All they have to worry about is jumping over the holes. And seeing how Super Luigi Bros is harder than SMBWU, I find it acceptable.
