L.A. Noire Rockstar Pass promo video teases new DLC cases

L.A. Noire’s Rockstar Pass program – which grants access to all current downloadable content for the game, as well as two upcoming add-on cases, for $10 (or 800 Microsoft Points) – has been available since yesterday. However, that’s not about to stop Rockstar from reminding you it’s there with a new video, which incidentally offers up a quick peek at the two new cases: the Nicholson Electroplating arson case, and the Reefer Madness vice case.

As we reported yesterday, buying a Rockstar Pass will grant players automatic access to those two cases when they become available (on June 21 and July 12, respectively) – and in the meantime, it also includes every piece of DLC for the game to date, including the two pre-order bonus cases (A Slip of the Tongue and The Naked City), as well as the Badge Pursuit challenge and the Broderick and Sharpshooter suits. Bought individually, the DLC adds up to $19.93/1600 MSP (including the two upcoming cases), so 10 bucks seems like a pretty badass deal – especially considering that the price of the Pass goes up to $12/900 MSP after June 14.

I change into a different suit for every case, or any instance where I think Cole would probably want to change into a different outfit. (IE, being shot 20 times and running 2 miles after a suspect, before returning to the police station) I'm lame like that.. On a related note, I bought Brink mostly because of the in-depth Character Customization.. :)

Rockstar is amazing! I wish other companies would learn from them and release exclusive content later on as a DLC. The Rockstar pass is fantastic considering its about $10 and you get all the exclusive DLC plus 2 extra cases later on! That being said the badge collecting was bullshit! The golden reels was bad enough but seriously rockstar?? You need to collect 20 badges to unlock a suit which you don't need in the first place???? Love the game to death but every single one of the 9 suits is useless. Well, maybe not the Hawkshaw one.

Such a great game the first time through. Not so much a second time when I already know exactly what to do for a 5 star case. Homocide should have been so awesome but chasing the same guy and arresting the wrong people bugged the hell out of me.

    This is definitely worth considering.

Same here. I pre-ordered so I don't want to get "The Naked City" twice.

Not sure if I should get it.
