Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance trailer shows new features

The worldwide leader in insane titles, Square Enix has revealed a new trailer for the latest entry in the now-eleven-years-old Kingdom Hearts series subtitled: Dream Drop Distance. Whatever that means.

Kingdom Hearts 3d: Dream Drop Distance will be releasing in North America on July 31, 2012. It will be the eighth entry in the long-running series, and makes a strong case for best/worst title against current series frontrunners "Birth By Sleep" and "358/2 Days."

Where in the name of Walt Disney is a proper Kingdom Hearts 3? Seriously how the hell do a bunch of spin offs like this even pass a review board? I believe that a good pillage and burning of Sqaure Enix's main office is deserved. How hard can it be to get a story for the sequel of a solid series? I feel like someone is spiking the water cooler at SE with acid. It's the only reasonable explanation to this bullshit

The problem many people fail to realize is that the main man behind Kingdom Hearts, Tetsuya Nomura is always working on other projects (in this case right now, it's Final Fantasy Versus XIII). Besides this game is the prolouge to KH3 so I wouldn't be complaining right now.

Last spinoff before KH3, so I've heard.

KH2 is also a prequel to KH3 so KH:DDD being a prequel is redundant. I understand that Noruma is busy with other projects. If the time and effort spent on the other spinoffs such as 358/2 and Birth by Sleep were spent on KH3 or even used for entirely different projects then that time and effort would have been better spent. Waiting for KH3 for six years only to recieve half a dozen spinoffs is a huge slap in the face. It's like working through high school for your diploma only to unexpectedly recieve a GED and being told it's okay it's just a prequel to your diploma.
