Killzone Trilogy HD collection announced

Sony Computer Entertainment announcedtoday that they are planning to release a trilogy pack of all three main games released so far in the Killzone series. 

Killzone Trilogy will include KillzoneKillzone 2, and Killzone 3, but will not include either of the PSP games. As an additional bonus, the original Killzone will be upgraded to "Killzone HD" with high-res textures and a better frame rate. For those who already own KZ2 and KZ3, the uprezzed original game will be available individually via the PSN.

The trilogy pack is expected to hit store shelves on October 23rd of this year at the suggested retail price of $39.99.

    This is an awesome deal! New copies of Killzone 3 is still selling for $30 by itself, so to get 1, 2, and 3 for $40 is pretty awesome.

    Neat. I've never played any of the games, so this ought to be the ideal way to experience them.

    "Either" of the PSP games? What was the second one? I only remember Liberation...
