Jurassic Park: The Game comes out November 15

Telltale Games has tentatively pegged November 15 as the day it releases all four episodes of Jurassic Park: The Game into the digital wilds for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. The entire season of the third-person adventure will arrive as a download on PSN and Telltale's online store, and as a physical copy for Xbox 360.

Along with the due date, Telltale Games recently unearthed two new screenshots from Episode 2 starring an intimidating T-Rex and a (mildly) imposing Dilophosaur doing what free range dinosaurs do best; looking badass and chasing things.

Jurassic Park: The Game is billed as a mix of adventure and survival horror topped with ample QTE sequences. In a move that's sure to please fans of the original film, the game take place during the events of the very first movie, and tracks Jurassic Park veterinarian Dr. Gerry “This isn't suppose to happen!” Harding and his daughter Jess through their own adventure on the theme-park-turned-nightmare island of Isla Nublar. A version of the game is also being designed specifically for the iPad 2, and is expected to be released episodically at a later date.

If Telltale Games was a girl, I would awkwardly approach it and ask it on a date to a nice movie. Cannot wait for this game.

maybe it's just me, but I would have liked a disc release for PS3 like the 360. I don't like keeping games on my hard drive. but, YAY for dinosaurs!!!

I was much more excited for this when I thought it would be more point and click adventure than QTE, but the fact that it takes place during the events of the first film might be enough to lure me in. I still maintain that it's one of the best movies ever made. I still remember sitting in the theater as a kid and getting chills when the T-Rex stepped out of its enclosure in that famous scene. Also, I'm calling it now that when the "special" iPad 2 version of this comes out, it will be touted as the reason why we finally have to recognize the legitimacy of tablet gaming. Let me go ahead and get my fit of laughter out of the way now.

It came out when I was 10, and when I went to see it I literally started hyperventilating out of both sheer terror and the realization of the awesomeness I was seeing at the part where the raptor almost snaps Lex's leg when they're in the ceiling. As for the game, I don't recall seeing it before but it sounds interesting, so I might pick it up for a quick playthrough if it doesn't cost too much.

360 gets a physical version?? Hmm, I hope Back to the Future makes it to Xbox in some form.

I forget, what exactly is November the 15th for gaming? Most major game releases are always 11/15. Is it like fiscal new year, or something much more blatantly obvious I'm missing?
