Journey and Dishonored were my Top Games of 2012, so I'm glad they won big here. I'm still not done with The Walking Dead but it's pretty great so far. Next up I have to try : The Unfinished Swan. I don't get all the hate on Journey from the gamers though. I can easily understand why it's not everyone's "kind of game". But some people seem to hate it only because it has been a critical success, like people hate CoD for being a commercial success and not for the game itself.

You hit the nail on the head. I bet many of the people who slag CoD off are the same who slag Journey off too - gaming is moving forward, both in terms of appealing to a wider audience and in what it's trying to achieve artistically and technically. Some people just don't really want to accept that games can be much more than just a game - Journey is more an interactive piece of art (yes, I went there - I am one of those pretentious wankshafts...)

I'm just glad dishonored beat journey, because I really don't see what's so great about it.

Journey is easily one of my favorite games of this generation. Not only is it beautiful to listen to and watch, it's just relaxing. It's a game that one plays simply to play. Not much plot or character development, all it is is experiencing one's journey. It doesn't need a complex plot, huge action scenes, or dialogue to make it great, its beauty and simplicity are what make it great.

I'm, personally, getting tired of seeing Journey winning so many awards.

Still don't get all the adoration for Journey : | Guess it's not my type of game. Though i'll credit the soundtrack and look of the game. Very nice to listen to and look at :D

You aint the only one. I still dont get whats so damn special about Journey. The music is nice but other than that the game is extremely boring

Not a single Xbox exclusive game won. Congratulations to Sony for giving the support and opportunity to indies and their talent.

That game The Room kept getting nominated! I have never heard of it, what with it being only on iOS, but it looks like my sort of thing. Why no Android or Windows version? Now it's won a BAFTA I really want to play it but I have nothing capable...
