Is BioShock better than Halo 3?

BioShock is better than Halo 3 because of... COMBAT

Joe's argument: While Halo offers a variety of weapons with which to dispatch foes, BioShock offers weapons and plasmids. This in turn creates a level of environmental interactivity that goes well beyond Halo’s, where the surroundings are simply something to hide behind. BioShock plays differently depending on which plasmids you have equipped, keeping each new encounter fresh and interesting. Halo’s gameplay only has two moves: point and shoot, which I suppose is fine if your brain functions on the level of a salamander.

Charlie's response: BioShock's combat is all over the place. I absolutely adored the diversity of all the weapons and plasmids, but cycling between them in the heat of a battle could be nightmarish.

Halo's combat system is brilliant in its simplicity and has been copied by everything from Gears to GRAW. Your arsenal options are still staggering, especially with all the badass additions planned for Halo 3, but you can only carry two guns at a time. This constant choice forces strategy much more seamlessly and subtly than BioShock.
