Sony Santa Monica is elite. Having watched all of the special behind the scenes videos for gow 1-3, you see that the best of the best flock there to produce some technical marvels in gaming. As with 3, this is a day 1 buy.

That was fun to watch. And holy shit, that sculpting must have been such a pain. Having an interest in Greek mythology, all these characters from the actual stories just make GoW one of my favorite series. I'm interested in the timeline of this though because in the oddysey Oddyseus destroyed his eye, yet he has it here. Or does GoW ignore all that?

Generally Kratos has replaced the heroes in the games, e.g. Perseus, Heracles, Odsseus, etc, putting a spin on well know myths. Then when he meets then, he usually ends up killing them.
