Get 8 EA games for charity in the Humble Origin Bundle

Shares

Electronic Arts might not strike you as the humble type, but the publisher's eight-PC-game pay-what-you-want Humble Origin Bundle may be the humblest of them all; EA isn't taking any cash from the pack, and is instead allocating its share to the pledger's choice of five charities.

Usually supporting the American Red Cross or the American Cancer Society would earn a fuzzy feeling and maybe a letter on some nice stationery. If you beat the average price (currently holding at about $4.60), it will also get you Battlefield 3 and The Sims 3 plus its starter pack. Anything above $1 will get you Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box, Crysis 2 Maximum Edition, Dead Space, Dead Space 3, Medal of Honor, and Mirror's Edge.

You don't even have to play all the Humble Origin Bundle's games on Origin: all but Battlefield 3, Dead Space 3, and The Sims 3 also come with Steam keys. The sale will go on until August 28.

I like humble bundle, I like getting games while giving to charity, but the games I haven't played are the ones that are pure Origin, and that mess isn't coming to my computer. It is nice that EA is giving all their portion to charity as well, and I commend them for that. It's a good move.

Welp, I humbly retract my earlier comment. I did the douchy-dumbass thing and didn't read the entire thing. Didn't see that most come with the steam keys. Will have to pick this up then. Whoopsie.

O.K., I'm usually an EA hater but i have to give them props on this one considering they are taking NO SHARE of the profit on this one. A very Kind move EA

Mad props to EA, it's just too bad they never have console humble bundles, because I never really got the hang of mouse and keyboard for shooters.

Why Deadspace and Deadspace 3, but not 2? Someone explain this silliness to me!

"Would rather" is different from "I will".

awesome. I will probably buy. But the good games don't come with steam keys. Stupid Origin

I think I'd rather just donate $40 right to the Red Cross of Cancer Society.

A.) already tried most of these games b.) given Origin a bunch of chances already, and it's always come up with new ways to irritate me. C.) more than you can image <3
