GamesRadar UK Podcast 023 – TTFN

As we mentioned in the most recent GamesRadar UK Question Box, this week’s GamesRadar UK Podcast is the last ever GamesRadar UK Podcast in its current audio-only format. The podcast is evolving into… something else. We haven’t worked out exactly what yet, but we’re going to have a jolly good think about it.

So inevitably this final episode is tinged with a waft of sadness, but we soldier on with upbeat banter about games we’ve been playing, games we’ve not been playing, games you’ve been playing, and so much other stuff we’re surprised we managed to cram it all in. Also, Justin brings in his guitar and does a song with actual singing.

Click where it says 'Click to hear us now!' and have a listen. Hopefully you’ll enjoy it.

And that’s it from us for a while. Thanks for being the best listeners a podcast could ever wish for.

We love you all.

Sad about all the gaming podcasts finishing up this year... :(

I tried to send you guys a message on the question box but it kept failing, and i didn't get time to try again before the end. Just wanted to say thanks for the jollies and informative mouth noises you gents have bestowed upon us over the years and don't stay away too long!! oh and Justin, I genuinely got goosebumps when you were playing All I Want from Crazy Taxi! I haven't heard that song in years and it brought back some great memories! Cheers Lads, much love XXX

My last pay check was $9500 working 12 hours a week online. My sisters friend has been averaging 15k for months now and she works about 20 hours a week. I can't believe how easy it was once I tried it out. This is what I do,

I'm sad to see my favorite podast end again. I hope you guys eventually find a way to make it work again. Thank you for all of the episodes, I listened to every single one, including Talkradar UK. Looking forward for more.

Your podcast is a goddamn emotional roller-coaster, but the highs are worth the lows and I hope when you rise again it'll be even grrreater. Can't wait to have you chaps in video format, if that IS, in fact, what you alluded to. I also have a small request. Can you just keep a camera around and whenever Hooters goes off on a rant you record it and post it? Would be enough to sustain our mental erections. Thank you.

I didn't have a chance to look at the Question Box so I actually didn't know that the podcast was going to take another (hopefully not too long!) break until I started to listen. :( Thanks for all the laughs every fortnight and for actually being bothered to do a podcast in the first place!
  • Clamps - October 4, 2012 3:13 a.m.

Really sad to hear the podcast is going on an extended holiday again, I liked the new format especially with the guest podders. Might have to dig out some of the old old episodes with Meiks and Nathan to keep me going.

Really sad to hear it's ending. Easily my favourite podcast to listen to. :( Cheers for everything, either way!

So the band isn't getting back together 8( I was sad to read on the GR UK question box that the GR UK Podcast was going into hiatus again, following the same path as the Xbox World and PSM3 podcast (both feature GR UK semi-regulars) which too has succumbed to internal work pressures and now have very infrequent releases. As always, thanks for the laughs again gents, this week was a very funny podcast but tinged with melancholy. I hope we all get to hear your dulcet tones, smutty innuendo and double entendres very soon. Cheers.

Cool! Matt Cundy read my username out at the end of the podcast 8) You guys better come back ASAP
  • JarkayColt - October 3, 2012 1:36 p.m.

I just made an account specifically to thank you guys for all the podcasts over years and that I hope whatever you come up with next is just as good. I'd been stalking TRUK since (nearly) the beginning and got a right barrelfull of laughs from it. I thought GRUK would have an equally lasting legacy wasn't to be. Not that it hasn't been equally funny mind. But when it was mentioned there's only 3 of you now and you have other stuff to do and thus you had to cut it to's kind of understandable. But if you do come back in an all-new video format I want Cundy's stupid-as-hell "cosplay" to return! He could come with a bunch of random nonsensical props and have Justin/Dave/possible-special-guests guess who he actually is. And since said costume is presumably rubbish, it wouldn't be as easy as it sounds! But that'd involve some pre-planning and Cundy...well...does not compute! Or...y'know, just s'more blindfolded escapades. Preferably with your horrendous-motion-controller-of-choice.
