Dark Souls' All Saints Day trailer promises death, teases boss battles

From Software isn't shy about advertising Dark Souls' difficulty level. In fact, that's pretty much been the cornerstone to its entire marketing campaign. Now, watch once more as Hidetaka Miyazaki and his team take joy in predicting your brutal demise in the studio's latest boss-heavy All Saints Day trailer.

Massive dragons, nude spider women, and titans of mass destruction? Odds are we'll be feeling like the guy at 0:37 after a few days of Dark Souls punishment. But hey, that's the hook right?

Dark Souls is already out in Japan, but set to release to release in North America on October 4th, and in Europe on October 7th. In the meantime, prepare yourself by reading our preview.
