Dance On Broadway is for girls - BIG SURPRISE

Hey, housewives. When you're done taking your girls to Little Miss Pageant rehearsals, you can unwind back at home with Dance On Broadway.

From the people who brought you hit titles like Just Dance and Imagine Babyz, Dance On Broadway empowers these Fragdolls-in-training to be independent and be free. At least until hubby comes home.

And hey, if you find your son wants to play, congrats - your kid is gay. Plan accordingly. Really, we only saw all girls in this video.

Above: Lesssssbiaaaaaannnn...

Check out the video below, just hold on to your vaginas.

Well, it's not so much that games like gears of war target specific markets as much as it is Cliff B's aesthetic for a game. It has been the same since Unreal/Unreal tournament back in the day, and he's just stuck to it. We gamers wanted the industry to become recognized and stop being seen like kids' toys, but we forgot that there were going to be consequences to it going mainstream, and we've been seeing them boom pretty much since the wii came to the market, but we don't see that sometimes this is a necessary evil we have to put up with if we don't want to be sent back to the underground. If you don't like games like these, ignore them... Like it has been said in tdar a couple times... Games like this allow companies to have money to make real games, even if we have to put up with 100s of them before we see one that's actually worth it. PS. I insist, they got their target audience wrong. This should've been targeted towards gay guys. I bet anyone there's a ratio of 6 gay men to 1 women who like musicals

Haha a game for Glee fans! Good, just never let me see you play it. Thumbs down.

You have to give them credit, they really know their target audience. Let's just take the fact that it is going make a killing in sales and get on our lives.

A friend of mine was in a musical and his mum asked him if a kid in his show was gay. It seemed very possible.

@ whiteknight: so does that mean we can also make fun of these programs "targeted" at getting women into science and math classes in college? I've been saying for years that there's not men's math and science and women's math and science, just math and science. Feminists insist that this isn't the case. and that women must be actively pursued to pursue these courses. I thought otherwise, but then I believe that logic and equality don't favor anyone regardless of sex or color so what do I know. However now you say that a business can't sell to a user base of their choosing, even if the demographic testing they've done suggests that it might be a good idea. I guess it really isn't a free market anymore. But yet colleges should recruit who you tell them to, and not to one of their choosing or *gasp* to anyone who has the grades. Good stuff to know. @ enraged tortise: I feel a similar way about people who see conspiracies, apartheid, and lynch attempts in every simple drawing, picture, or sound they see. Well not quite: I don't think these people are worth the bullet, but I'm all for the shooting if they'll pay for it.

Anything specifically made for a target audience should be made fun of. That's why we also make fun of Gears of War for being so overly manly: Gunz!!!! Biceps!!!! More blooooooooooood!!! Same thing for this. That and people spontaneously bursting into song for no reason absolutely needs to be skewered to be shown how ridiculous it is. Just like reality tv.

The people who come up with these ideas need to be shot. In their balls (or more likely, vaginas).

I'm sorry, but I don't see the justification behind the snorts of derision here. What's the difference between this, and Dance Dance Revolution? Outside of the music and control scheme, I don't really see one. Oh wait, I get it. There's clearly a target audience here, and it's clearly women. Holy damn, someone needs to hang for this, this is clearly the worst most disrespectful thing anyone has done to women in gaming since the last useless pointless imagined slight you were whining about. Seriously though guys, I called this a couple of days ago. Somebody owes me 5 bucks: http://www.gamesradar.com/xbox360/red-dead-redemption/news/this-is-the-coolest-and-cruelest-achievement-of-all-time/a-20100527141034279039/g-20090204142932437070/c-3#10374492282492695547636489757920294

  • mivan - June 2, 2010 9:41 p.m.

great, my girlfriend's gonna want a Wii now (she likes musicals, not lesbians...unfortunately)
  • WickedSid - June 2, 2010 9:13 p.m.

Why do they move both hands, whilst holding one controller...? My guess is that they're trying to say, "Wii has full body sensors!" Lame. P.S. I can not believe there are enough people who actually purchase these kind of games to warrant a sequel... Why would they not have purchased psychonauts? Now there's a great game with a sense of humor.
  • elchetos - June 2, 2010 9:10 p.m.

O....M...G... Sorry, Lizzy, but this is not for girls... This is intended for gay guys ages 18-50 who go to showtunes wednesday at their favorite gay bar. I'm gay, though, and this is just shameful
