And now we have more word. Because the BBFChas passed Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition for release with a 12 rating. What form will it take though?
Well the BBFC's page simply lists SSFIV: AE as "digital media". DLC then, rather than a full disc release, a la Super SFIV? Maybe not. You see all versions of Street Fighter IV thus far have been dubbed with the same, catch-all monicker. We haven;t managed to get anything concrete out of Capcom so far, but we're expecting a full reveal at the company's Captivate event, which starts next Tuesday, the 6th of April.
So the question is, would you triple-dip Street FIghter IV if AE turned up as a disc game? How cheap would it have to be to convince you to upgrade again, if you bought the first two? Are Yun, Yang, Oni Akuma and Evil Ryu enough for you? Would you be more tempted if it was DLC? Are the rumours that my beloved Bison's 2nd Ultrahas been slightly nerfedtrue? And if so why, for the love of God, why!?
Actually that's quite a lot of questions. Answer them at your leisure.
