Child’s Play charity holiday auction announced for December 8

Child’s Play is a charity after our own hearts, as the organization (founded by the cartoonists behind Penny Arcade) is about bringing videogames to sick children in hospitals. We even took part in a little bit of charity for the organization during our recent 24-hour marathon. Now Child’s Play is entering its season of holiday charity drives you can help out with, and that includes its yearly auction filled with one of kind items that happens December 8.

Tickets just to attend the auction, let alone bid on the items, are $145 per person and $5,000 for a table of ten, but not only is it for charity, you’ll get a chance to own some very unique items. Though Child’s Play didn’t mention what’s up for sale this year, last year included a Portal Gun replica and a one day internship at Penny Arcade. You can read more about the event and charity here.

Wonder what comes with the $5000 table of ten, since 10 individual tickets would only be $1450 after all. Unless it is a typo.
