Final Fight, one of Capcom's most overlooked franchises, finally gets a sequel 
in Final Fight: Streetwise!  Prepare to take it to the streets once again, only 
this time with a little more urban flavor.  In Final Fight Streetwise, you take 
on the role of Cody's younger brother Kyle Travers and must find the reason 
behind your brother's kidnapping and the sudden occurrence of a new street drug 
known as "glow".  Along the way, you'll run into the former powerhouse mayor of 
Metro City, Mike Hagger, and Cody's very popular friend, Guy, as well as a 
bunch of other new and familiar faces.

This guide will give you a full walkthrough for story mode along with all the 
side missions and pit fights found throughout the main game.  I will go into 
detail with Arcade Mode as well, highlighting every move for each character 
along with a few tips for advancing further in the stages.

As in my other walkthroughs I have stayed away from anything dealing with the 
plot, but if you consider boss names a spoiler, then tread carefully.  Please 
enjoy this FAQ and give me an email if you have any questions, comments, or if

While the Instinct Mode button is held down, Kyle will hit much harder and his 
attacks will take off more damage then they normally would.  Be sure to take 
advantage of Instinct Mode for boss battles or any tough pit fights!

= Saving =
==========

In order to save your game in Final Fight: Streetwise, you will need to quit 
your current game and select the option to save when prompted.  You can only 
keep one saved game at a time.  Make sure that you have just completed an 
important event and have earned a journal entry before you save.  Usually a 
checkpoint for saving will be kept before or after a boss encounter or lengthy 
cutscene.  Some of the checkpoints are labeled in the walkthrough.

   Kyle will jump into the air and do a spinning jump kick and hit the opponent 
   in the face.

   - Flip Kick (Tap Strong with proper timing as an opponent attacks)

   Kyle will quickly interrupt his opponent's attack by hitting them in the

both of his feet.

Kyle will grab his opponent during the middle of a combo and deliver an intense 
head-butt to his opponents face.

-- Reverse Suplex (Back + Grab)

Kyle will quickly grab his opponent from behind and perform a suplex.

-- 360 Grapple (L + Grab)

Kyle will grab his opponent and swing the opponent all the way around him and 
shove the opponent to the side.

-- Charge Punch (Hold R, then tap Back, Forward + Strong Attack)

Kyle will charge his fist then let loose a charged palm strike.

-- Crack Kick (Forward + Light, Light, Forward + Light)

Kyle will do the normal gut punch and two-hand gut punch, but end the combo 
with a spinning jump-kick.

-- Alt. Body Blow (Light, Light, pause, Light, rapidly tap Light)

Kyle will do the usual left jab and right cross then chain into a striking 
elbow and end the combination with a barrage of rapid punches to his opponent's 
gut.  To do this combo easier tap Light, Light, pause, then tap Light rapidly.

-- Flamingo Kicks (Forward + Light, Strong, Light, Light)

Kyle will start the combo with the usual two gut punches then end the combo 
with a two-hit stepping set of kicks with both legs.

      - Light Swing (Strong)

      Kyle will perform a light swing, which will slightly stun the enemy.

      - Light Swing Combo (Light, Light, Light)

      Kyle will hit the enemy with two overhead swings followed by a normal 
      swing.

      - Homerun Swing (Strong anytime during the light swing combo)

      Kyle will interrupt the combo with an uppercut swing.

      - Bat Choke (Grab, then tap Grab repeatedly)

      Kyle will put the bat around the enemy's neck and start to choke him. 
      As the button is pressed, the enemy will fall to his knees and Kyle will 
      ultimately break the bat around the enemy's neck.

      - Overhead Bat Strike (Strong over a grounded opponent)

      Kyle will hit the enemy with an overhead bat swing.  The bat will always 
      break.

   -- Knife or Hunting Knife

      - Knife Combo (Light, Light, Light)

      Kyle will hit the enemy with a jab, slash him with a knife, then punch 
      the enemy with a straight punch.

      - Lunging Knife Stab (Strong during the knife combo)

      Kyle will interrupt the combo with a lunging stab.

      - The Stabbing (Grab, Light, Light, Light, Light, Light)

      Kyle will grab the enemy and stab him in the chest then push him away.

   -- Pistol

      - Shoot (Strong)

      Kyle will fire one shot.

      - Quick 3 hit Combo (Light, pause, Light, Light)

      This is basically like Kyle's standard quick three hit but in place of 
      the right cross he will hit the enemy with the gun and continue into the 
      normal straight punch.

      - Downward Shot (Strong near a grounded enemy) 

      Kyle will point the gun down at the enemy and shoot him on the ground.

   -- Shotgun

      - Shoot (Strong)

      Kyle will fire one shot.

      - Quick 3-hit Combo (Light, Light, Light)

      Kyle will hit the enemy with the front of the shotgun, uppercut him with 
      the butt of the shotgun, and roundhouse kick them.

      - Barrel Ram (Grab, Strong)

      Kyle will jab the barrel right into the enemy's stomach and fire a shot.

      - Downward Shot (Strong near a grounded enemy) 

      Kyle will point the shotgun down at the enemy and shoot him on the 
      ground.

   -- SMG

      - Shoot (Hold Strong or Light)

      Kyle will fire a burst of shots.

   -- Katana

      - Quick 3-hit Combo (Light, Light, Light)

      Kyle will hit the enemy with two horizontal slices then finish with a 
      vertical slice.

      - Sword Uppercut (Strong)

      Kyle will lean back and swing the sword upward.  This move can be 
      performed during any part of the normal 3-hit Katana Combo.

      - Sword Stab and Kick (Grab, Strong)

      Kyle will stab the enemy in the chest with the sword then kick them off 
      the blade.

      - Downward Stab (Strong near grounded enemy)

      Kyle will stab the enemy while the enemy is on the ground.

   -- Wood Plank

      - Smack (Light or Strong)

      Kyle will hit swing the plank at the enemy and break it in the process.

   -- Chair, Stool, or Oar

      - Smack (Light)

      Kyle will hit swing the object at the enemy and break it in the process.

      - Throw (Strong)

      Kyle will toss the object at the enemy.

   -- Trashcans, Newspaper Stands, Vacuum Cleaners, Two Wheelers, Gas

      Kyle will toss the object at the enemy.

      - Spray Coolant (Hold Light)

      Kyle will spray coolant toward the area in front of him.  Please note the 
      meter to the side will show how much coolant you can spray during that 
      period.  It will constantly recharge.  The coolant will cause an enemy to 
      block if you spray them.

      - Extinguisher Smack (Strong)

      Kyle will strike the enemy with the fire extinguisher.

do at times in Arcade Mode since you have no lock-on button.  Try to do it 
either after guarding or during a combo to get it to work better.

[PIT FIGHT 1 (Kyle's Hood)]

Use any short combo that suits you in order to knock Handsome Bob down.  Just 
about any three hit combo will work well.  Activate Instinct mode while 
attacking in order to take off more damage per hit.  While Bob is down on the 
ground, stomp on him once with a strong attack then move away from him - he 
will get up and try to punch you if you stay next to him.  Block his attacks at 
just the right time and you will enter Counter Time, where the screen will slow 
down for a second and allow you to counter him with a hard-hitting attack.  
Press Strong Attack for a kick and press Light Attack for an elbow during the 
Counter Time animation.

Break the small crate right behind you for a First Aid Kit and go back inside 
of Fight Club to find an Energy Bar to your left.  Now you should be back at 
full health and your Instinct Bar should be full as well.  Walk up ahead and a 
van will pull up then some thugs will try to jump you.  Simple combos should be 
more than enough to fight them off, just don't let them crowd around you.  
Break some of the wood against the side of the buildings for some Planks that 
you can beat them down with.

Walk down the street ahead and talk to the hooker with the question mark over 
her head for a side mission [A Kid's Wrong Path].

Barfly is across the street from the hooker.  Some thugs will attack as you 
walk up to the door of Barfly.  One of them has a knife so try to disarm him 
first.  If they all start to crowd around you, grab one of them and throw him 
into the others.  Punch the soda machine a few times for a Capcola.  Enter Bar 
Fly afterwards.

After the cutscene a group of The Stiff's guards will ambush you and Cody.  For 
this fight try to get a hold of a weapon no matter what weapon that may be.  
There are plenty of stools lying around and there are some pool cues in the 
back corners.  Many of the guards will have bats and knives with them so be 
sure to knock them out of their hands.  Use throws often when the guards gang 
up on you and stomp them with a strong attack when they hit the floor.

for a side mission [Purse Mugging].

[PIT FIGHT #2 (Kyle's Hood)]

Locksmith is not much tougher than Handsome Bob was, but he will sometimes duck 
your combos.  When he ducks he will always retaliate with a flip kick.  Be 
prepared to block the flip kick at all times and he shouldn't be much of a 
problem.  Like the first pit fight, Locksmith will try to hit you when he gets 
up from a knockdown, only he will use a sweeping kick instead of a punch.  You 
can really take advantage of his retaliating kick attack by grabbing him every 
time he finishes the kick.  It will work every time!

[END PIT FIGHT #2 (Kyle's Hood)]

Enter the building next door to Kyle's apartment for another side mission 
[Tattoo Puzzle].

Walk down the road ahead of where you started and stop by Tiger's Gym to buy 
some new moves along your way to Metro Diner.  Buy the extra health upgrade for 
sure and the High Kick Finisher if you have some extra cash.

== Metro Diner ==

Talk to the woman at the cashier desk (to the right of the door) and either 
play the roach minigame or pay her $50 to get the information you need.  If you 
choose the minigame, use light attacks or strong attacks to squash the roaches 
before the timer runs out.  If you run over one, it will stun it.  Be sure to 
check behind the main counter.

Go out the back door of the diner.  Fight through the thugs and talk to the guy 
with the briefcase (black suit) for a side mission [3-Card Monte No.1].

The Porn Theater is down the street ahead.  Some thugs are standing next to the 
entrance so you will need to fight them off.

== Porn Theater ==

Talk to the guy behind the counter and tell him that you need to speak to his 
boss.  He will let you into the Weasel's office if you engage in an arm 
wrestling match with him.  Tap the Light Attack button rapidly to beat him.  
Run up the steps and move toward the Projection Room for a cutscene.

== Projection Room ==

Hit Weasal as he runs around the room until a button pres interrogation 
sequence starts.  Tap the Strong Attack button until the meter reaches the 
Light Attack button icon, then quickly tap Light Attack to smack him with the 
door.  After three smacks he will tell you what you need to know.

[Pit Fight #3 (Kyle's Hood)]

Handsome Bob again.  He seems to block a bit more and he is somewhat more 
aggressive - nothing you can't handle though.

You have to fight Locksmith again for this pit match.  He is the exact same as 
last time.  Grab him after he counters and you should defeat him in no time.

The warehouse that you need to go to is in the alley behind the Metro Diner.  
The alley is also nearly directly across from the Porn Theater.  The warehouse 
has a Blue Ball Video sign on the front and a "Keep Out!" sign as well.

The first part of this battle will be a big match between you and several of 
The blue ballers are basically just like the Stiff's guards but you will fight 
a new enemy here - the big guys.  Make sure you watch out for the their rams. 
They will always make a noise as they ram so listen for it while fighting other 
enemies.  The Weasal will be operating a crane in the background during this 
whole fight and will try to drop crates on you the whole time.  As the shadow 
of the crates move over you they will fall immediately so be sure to move out 
of the way.

Boss - The Weasel

After you have taken care of all of his guards the Weasel will bust through the 
crates in a Spiked Forklift.  The fight looks quite dangerous, but this is much 
easier than the last battle.  Keep running to the sides each time he tries to 
ram you and he will bash through the crates and hit a barrel on the sides of 
this area.  The forklift will stop when he hits a barrel so that is your cue to 
attack him with a combo from the back.  When the red light on the forklift 
lights up, run away from him since he will back up and run over you if you are 
still behind him.  Get a few hits in each time he rams a barrel and you will 
defeat him in no time.  Many items will be scattered around the area as he rams 
more and more crates so be sure to grab a weapon to make the battle quicker.

Talk to the elder woman in the back with the pink jacket for a side mission 
[Barfly Darts].

Leave Barfly and go down the street to the right.  Talk to the woman in green 
in front of Boomer's Electronics & Music for another side mission [Hood Car 
Smash].  Talk to the bum near the front of Tiger's Gym for yet another side 
mission [Buy a Bum a Bottle].

Enter Fight Club for a new pit fight.  Tiger's Gym now has Greater Damage 1 and 
Instinct Gain 1.

[PIT FIGHT #5 (Kyle's Hood)]

Entry = $25

Purse = $175

Another fight against Handsome Bob.  He is still basically the same, but he 
will use Instinct moves a bit more this time.

Your next destination is the Subway near the Porn Theater.  2-ill will be in 
front of the Subway stairs.  Immediately after speaking to him, some thugs will 
chase after 2-ill.  Chase after the thugs as they chase 2-ill into an alley 
then let the beat down begin.  Be sure to use constant throws to throw one of 
the thugs into a crowd of others when they all gang around 2-ill since they can 
take him out rather quickly.  2-ill will attempt to fight them off, but he's 
not much a fighter.  A cutscene will begin once you have taken out all of the 
thugs.  Don't worry too much about picking up all the items during the battle, 
they will still be there after the cutscene.

Many thugs will be waiting up ahead for you.  Throw them around a little, then 
exit the Subway to enter the Pier District.

== Pier District ==

After exiting the subway, approach the guy with the black jacket further down 
the road to the left for a side mission [Pier Trashcans].

You can't enter Hotel Bijou from the front entrance so you will need to go 
around the left side to get to the back entrance.  Grab the shotgun off to the 
right of the Hotel Bijou - you will have to go around the other end of the 
fence.  On the left side of Hotel Bijou a group of Punx will ambush you.  They 
are a bit more aggressive than other enemies you have fought and will even grab 
you, so try to keep them from ganging around you with constant throws as much 
as possible.

In order to gain access to the back of Hotel Bijou you will need to enter the 
correct security code on the security access panel to unlock the door.  The 
objective is to get all of the lights on with three button presses.

Sneak by the guard and the dog up ahead and proceed into the courtyard.  You 
will most likely give yourself away here since you will have to go past the 
pacing guard.  Be sure to defeat the dogs first if the enemies catch site of 
you.  Stomp the dogs with a strong attack and that will instantly take them 
out.  Enter the backdoor of the hotel near the end of the courtyard.

== Hotel Lobby ==

CHECKPOINT!

Grab a chair from either side as you enter.  You need to go down the right 
hall.  You may be able to sneak by the guards in the main hall but the pacing 
guard down the right hall will most likely notice you.  The elevator is locked 
so go down the hall and enter the last door on the left side to find a sleeping 
guard and a key on the table to the right.  Either sneak past the guard or 
fight him off and grab the ELEVATOR KEY.  Run back down the hall and use the 
elevator.

== Floor 3 ==

The doors with the blue light up above them are the only doors that can be 
opened.  Most of them contain health and money items.  Enter the room all the 
way down the hall directly in front of the elevator.  Go through the room 
(nevermind the girl) and exit through the back door.  Sneak by the first guard 
then either sneak past the second guard or bust him with a chair on your way to 
the catwalks outside the window.

== Floor 4 ==

As you walk down the hall you will notice a guard in a white suit standing by a 
Capcola machine.  Wait for the guard further down the hall to turn his back 
then grab the chair behind the guard in white and take him down.  You'll most 
likely have to defeat the other guard as well, but try to do it in the same 
hall with the Capcola machine so the others ahead will not hear you.  Walk down 
the hall and turn right then enter the first door on the right.

A chair will be in the middle of the room and a guard will be sleeping across 
from it - I don't know about you but hitting him with that chair just can't 
escape my mind.  Walk through the doorway in the back then break the boards 
barring the next doorway.  You'll alert some guards but there are only two.  Go 
through the next door off to the side.  The door off to your immediate left 
only has an energy bar and two women inside plus you'll most likely be seen by 
the whole room of enemies if you go over to it.  Walk down the hall to the 
right and defeat the pacing guard then enter the room on the left.

The room in front of the sleeping guard is locked and he has the key so defeat 
him then to get the KEY TO ADJOINING ROOM and go through the door.  Exit 
through the next door off to the right then run down the hall (no guards) and 
go through the window to get to the catwalks outside.

== Floor 5 ==

Holy shit, it's one of those demons from Demon Knight!  Aim for the eyes!  Just 
kidding, they're actually called glow heads.  These enemies can take off some 
massive damage if you let them grab you so be careful when attacking.  Go 
through the right door if you want a gun.  Destroy the table to find a handgun. 
The glow head will attack if you get too close to him.  Go back out into the 
hall and enter the room across from you.

Another glow head will attack inside the next room.  Hit the boards against the 
wall and enter the room next door.  You'll have to take out at least one glow 
head to exit the room so grab the chair to the side.  Destroy the table in 
front of the door then go through the door.

Walk to the right side first and defeat the glow head.  You will find a shotgun 
to the right of him.  Go back the way you came and walk down the hall with many 
glow heads.  It is possible to get past the majority of them without them 
attacking you but the ones further down the hall will likely attack.  Don't be 
afraid to use the shotgun, you'll get another one in just a bit.  Enter the 
room at the end of the hall.

Fight off the glow heads in the next room and destroy the table blocking the 
exit.  Yet another shotgun is off to the right.  You might as well defeat the 
sleeping guard against the wall since you will have to fight the others in the 
next room anyway.  One of the guards will hold the key to the next door in the 
room ahead.  Grab the KEY TO ADJOINING ROOM and enter the next door.  Destroy 
the table next to the bed to reveal plenty of money pickups.  The glow head 
will get up as you try to enter the room so you can either run or fight him - 
it's only one though, so fight!  Two more glow heads will be waiting down the 
hall.  Exit through the window to get to the next floor.

== Penthouse Floor ==

Ah, finally we've reached the top!  The guard up ahead is going to sick four 
attack dogs on you so be ready to squash them with the strong attack button.  
If the guard starts to fire his handgun, rush toward him and knock him down 
then continue defeating the dogs.  The penthouse door at the end is locked so 
you will need to go through the door across from it.  Use the security access 
panel to the side of the door in order to gain entry.

Press the buttons on the security access panel in the following order.

Stiff".

Boss - Devin "The Stiff"

Stiff is no pushover, that's for sure.  You will need to take cover behind any 
of the four pillars found around the room often.  He will mainly shoot you from 
a distance or run toward you while shooting then try to kick you.  He has to 
reload after every sixth shot so it is best to count his shots and try to 
attack him when he only has about one or two bullets left so you will most 
likely catch him while he is reloading.  Each time you knock him down he will 
most likely leave a handgun for you.  The best way to fight him is to hit him 
then grab him while he is slightly stunned and knee him with the strong attack 
button.  You can shoot him with the handgun then grab him or punch him then 
grab him.  Be sure to stomp on him with the strong attack button while he is on 
the ground to take some extra damage.  As usual, he will attack once he gets 
up.  He will constantly dodge your attacks so you will have to take swings at 
him often, but run away if he starts to shoot.  If you can corner him with 
strong attacks then you might be able to trap him.

After you defeat him in his office, a cutscene will start then you will have to 
fight the Stiff yet again on the rooftop.  This time there are no guns.  Use 
constant strong attacks and eventually you will catch him off guard while he 
dodges around the area.  Try to grab him and knee him in the middle of the 
combo if you think he might dodge out of the way near the end.  DO NOT try to 
hit him on the ground after a normal knockdown - he will always kick you before 
he gets up.  When you knock him down be sure to stand near him but not right 
next to him and wait for the kick.  Directly after the kick, grab him and knee 
him in the chest.  You can sometimes hit him on the ground directly after a 
grab, but that is the only time.  He will not always do the kick after you 
knock him down so you can't always count on that free grab.  He's very 
aggressive so counters will definitely help you out during this fight.

Directly in front of Boomer's Electronics & Music is another side mission 
[Getting a Bat].  Talk to the guy with the black coat.  Upon completing this 
side mission, another side mission will activate if you follow the guy into 
Boomer's after completing his side mission.  Talk to the clerk in Boomer's to 
begin the new side mission [Recover the Stereo].  Talk to the guy in the alley 
to the right of Tiger's Gym for another side mission [Hood Targets].  Also, 
talk to the shopkeeper of Cash 'N Go Liquors [Liquor Robbery].

Enter Metro Diner and talk to the woman behind the counter for yet another side 
mission [Diner Menu Puzzle].

Push Kick, Greater Damage 2, Instinct Gain 2, Extra Health 2, and Extra 
Instinct 2 are now available at Tiger's Gym.

To get to your main destination go to the where the road used to be blocked off 
to the right of the Metro Diner to enter Little Italy.

Talk to the guy over to your right at the Little Italy Theater upon entering

side mission [Italy Arm-wrestle].  Talk to the guy with the black coat to the 
right side of Augie's Bar & Grill down the alley [Italy Car Smash].

The "Preacher Feature" Side Mission will take you right where you need to go - 
to Vito's Restaurant.

Fight off Vito's bodyguards.  There are plenty of chairs and you can even grab 
the vacuum cleaners around the area to hit the guards.  They only attack you 
two at a time starting out, but soon some chefs will attack along with them.  
Make sure to attack the chef first in this group of enemies since he will 
constantly stand back and throw knives if you don't.

[PIT FIGHT #1 (Little Italy)]

After the cutscene you will be engaged in a pit fight against Ghost.  Ghost 
isn't really that bad at all, but he seems to take off a bit more damage than 
the other pit fights you have engaged in.  The only move you really have to 
watch for is his low kick, which cannot be guarded - you will have to sidestep 
it.  He leaves himself open a bunch with taunts.  If he starts to attack you, 
tap the guard button for Counter Time or attack him to counter him.  He hardly 
ever retaliates with an attack after you knock him down so give him a good 
stomping while he's on the ground.

Well, now you're back in Kyle's Hood, which is perfect, since you need to see 
the psychic at the Psychic's Parlor next to the Porn Theater anyway.

There are three side missions available: talk to the guy behind the counter in 
Metro Diner [Diner Shakedown], across the street from Tiger's Gym [3-Card Monte 
No.3] and in the alley directly across the street from the Porn Theater [Hood 
Trashcans 1].

Two new moves are available at Tiger's Gym: Greater Damage 3 and Extra Health 
3.

There's also a new pit fight available at Fight Club.

[Pit Fight #6 (Kyle's Hood)]

Locksmith is just as easy as he was all the other times.  Take advantage of his 
constant kick retaliation while he recovers by grabbing him afterwards and you 
can take him down rather quickly.

== Psychic's Parlor ==

Talk to her and play the psychic's game.  You will need to find all the 
matching pairs of cards and have a limit of five mismatches.  This is all about 
memorization.  Always turn over a different set of cards after you have missed 
once unless you know where one of the other card's match is already at.  You 
will gain an extra mismatch limit per correct pair.

She will give you the key to Cody's apartment upon completion and tell you to 
go there for some information.  Cody you dog!

trainyard to the right of Hotel Bijou [Run Kyle, run!], the guy behind the 
counter in Cap'n Cadaver's Pawn Shop [Captain Jack's Booty], the barkeeper at 
Pier Pressure Bar [Pier Arm Wrestle], and the psychic woman at Pier Pressure 
Bar [Magic Cards, Pt. 2] for some side missions.

To get to your main destination, go to Pier 15, which is to the right of the 
Pier Pressure Bar.

Gotta love that remixed Final Fight music!  Plow through the crate ahead and 
grab the oar from the side.  Some Punx will ambush you up ahead.  Notice the 
Damn'd (Final Fight Stage 1 boss) whistle from the one with the black jacket?  
After fighting the enemies the bridge in the back will lower.  Run across the 
bridge. You will have to solve another security access panel code on the other 
side.

The ramp to the left will lower.  Walk down the ramp and you will find some 
grenades being tossed down from up above.  Could it be my favorite crazed 
dictator!?  Wait for them to stop blowing up then try to rush through them.  
The coins are only there as bait.  A first aid kit will be on the other side 
though, so you might want to try for the coins.  Walk up the ramp on the other 
side.

Bash through the wooden crates and follow the path.  Some Punx will attack - I 
guess they were throwing the grenades.  Okay, so I guess Rolento isn't in 
here...damn.  Destroy the next few crates to find some more Punx up ahead.  Use 
the various objects around the area to help you out.  Gas Cylinders, Oars, a 
shotgun, etc.  A friend from the past will help you out on the second phase of 
Punx.  The Punx are extremely numerous in numbers so be sure to grab often.  
The Punx in the different colored jackets will be more aggressive than the ones 
in the normal gray jackets.

== Haggar's Gym ==

Haggar will teach you the Drop Kick after the fight.  Complete his training to 
advance ahead.  After four drops kicks have been performed to Haggar you can 
exit the training.  Haggar will be unlocked in Arcade Mode after the training.

Talk to him again in order to buy three new moves: Stun Head-Butt, Reverse

Andore is definitely a change of pace from the pit fighters you have been 
fighting against.  If you have not been using the sidestep button, then you 
better get used to it quick, because you will definitely need it now.  Do not 
ever try to hit Andore when he starts to do his claps, he will only hit you 
with another clap afterward.  His claps can be countered, but it's a bit risky 
since his grabs look a bit like claps as well.  The main time to hit him is 
directly after his drop kick.  Dodge the drop kick by stepping to the side or 
stepping back as he does it then unload on him with a combo when he falls to 
the ground from the drop kick.  You can hit him after he tries to grab you but 
only hit him about two times then dodge.  Constantly step in and out and right 
and left while fighting and hit him sparingly.  You cannot knock Andore down so 
you can't capitalize on ground moves like you could with other opponents.  
Andore cannot be grabbed either.  When you hit him, be sure to do a combo that 
ends with a heavy attack to knock him back at the end (Strong, Strong, Light, 
Light; Light, Strong, Strong)  Another good technique I have found, besides 
stepping in and and out toward him, is to walk around him until he attacks then 
attack him while he recovers.

== Tattoo Parlor ==

In order to get some information from the shopkeeper, you will need to get rid 
of the pests in his shop.  This is just like the roach squashing game from 
earlier only this time you will have rats along with the roaches.  The rats are 
pretty fast so be sure to use light attacks for them.  If you have trouble with 
a rat, try to run over him to stun him then kick him.  Kill 12 pests in 30 
seconds to move on.

He will tell you that you need to see Lou "The Skin" in Japantown.

== Japantown ==

CHECKPOINT!

When you start in Japantown, new music will be unlocked and Japantown will now 
be selectable in Arcade Mode.

Be on the lookout for the enemies in this area since they are quite different -
all of them are Japanese schoolgirls and are quite deadly with their constant 
dodging and aggressiveness.  Most of them carry Katanas, like your everyday 
Japanese schoolgirl...wait.

Run over to the Japantown Bar for a side mission [Drink Menu Puzzle].

Go to Lou's Tattoo Parlor for a cutscene.

The enemies here will attack differently than what you are used to.  Only one 
enemy will attack at a time usually, and you can only hit that one enemy.  
Target the attacking enemy and be sure to block frequently.  Try to stay in the 
middle as much as possible since the enemies like to dash straight toward you 
right after you take out one of their friends.  This battle can get quite 
confusing since it is sometimes hard to tell which enemy is actually attacking 
you since the other grouped enemies will sometimes move around.  The attacking 
enemy will usually be in the middle of area.  Pick up one of their Katanas to 
make the battle much quicker.

Lou will fight you after all the normal enemies have been disposed of.  
Thankfully some of your life will recharge when he enters the battle area.  
Pick up a Katana and hit him with light attacks followed by a grab.  Stomp him 
when you knock him down but be sure to get away afterward.  He uses many 
different attacks and will grab you if you turtle even the slightest.  Stay 
aggressive instead of defensive to win.  Every time he taunts, be sure to take 
the free hit either with a combo or a grabbing knee.

== Guy's Dojo ==

After the battle a cutscene will play then you will be taken to Guy's dojo and 
you will spar with him to learn the Charge Punch move.  Hit him with the Charge 
Punch four times then you can exit the training match.  After training with 
Guy, you will have the opportunity to buy Alternating Body Blows, Crack Kick, 
and Flamingo Kicks.

Guy will be unlocked in Arcade Mode directly after the cutscene following the 
training.

The main rule to remember for this part:  If there is a fire near an enemy you 
WILL throw the enemy into the flames!  This will instantly kill an enemy.  The 
only flames that will not kill them is the flames near a door barricade.

Now you and Guy are forced to fight your way out of Guy's burning dojo and you 
will only have four minutes to do so.  Defeat the first group of guards as 
quickly as you can.  Use strong attacks to open them up then throw them into 
the flames.  After the guards are defeated, quickly get through the door.  Guy 
will say, "We must escape quickly!" when you can actually open the door.  Run 
and follow Guy until some burning debris falls in your way.  Enter the door on 
the right next to the burning debris.

Grab the fire extinguisher and douse the flames in front of the door to the 
left of the burnt body with the light attack button.  You will have to spray 
the fire until you see black smoke rise up from where the fire was currently at 
to completely put it out.  Don't spend too much time trying to get to any items 
unless you ABSOLUTELY need them since you will most likely not make it out of 
this building alive if you straggle too much.

Outside, you will join back up with Guy.  Some more guards will attack but they 
will keep coming endlessly.  Put up your fire extinguisher and fight them as 
best you can.  When the coast is clear, use the extinguisher on the row of 
flames in front of you.  Douse one side of the flames with the extinguisher and 
it will put the fire out after spraying it for about a good ten seconds.  Guy 
should protect you while you spray the flames.  Run over and grab the guard on 
the other side and throw him in the flames to get rid of him quickly.  Fight 
off the guards until only a few are on the screen then use your extinguisher to 
put out the flames that are blocking the door off to the right.  Destroy the 
debris in front of the door with a punch then enter the next room.

In the next room, put out the fire in front of the door to the left then 
destroy the debris blocking the way.  Defeat the enemies with the Katanas 
outside by throwing them into the nearby fire and use the extinguisher on the 
door up ahead.  You'll have to destroy some debris once again in order to get 
to the door.

Use the extinguisher on the flames in front of the guard on the left side then 
run through the smoke and throw him into a nearby group of flames.  Run to the 
right and put out the flames near the pool table then go and help Guy.  Put out 
the flames directly in front of the door and open it to end this part.

Cammy White

Cammy is not that hard at all, but she can be a little hard to hit at times.  
She has quite a variety of attacks but will mainly stick with a low kick.  
Attack her with constant strong attacks and stomp her while she is on the 
ground.  She might try to Cannon Spike you from the ground, but she doesn't do 
it very often.  Each time she runs up to you she will always attack, so you can 
dodge to the side and attack her while she tries to attack you.  She will 
either do a low kick or a Cannon Drill after the dash.  There is some Sushi and 
Sake on each side of the dojo that you can use for any of the matches fought 
here, but it will not be there the next fight if you use it.

There's a gun to your left, and some health and instinct pickups up ahead on 
the right and left next to the altars.  Enter the door on the left.  Be sure to 
take the gun if you don't have a type of gun already!

Boss - Blades

Blades is not too bad if you stay on top of him or hit him with a gun.  There 
are only two guns in the middle of the area so be sure to use them wisely.  At 
the beginning of the battle run to the side since he will throw knives at you.  
He will always throw three in a row.  His other moves are done mostly after his 
dashes, he will dash straight toward you and try to hit you with his knives.  
His moves are mostly unblockable so you will need to avoid him or stay on top 
of him so he doesn't have a chance to attack.  When you shoot him with a gun, 
make sure to stop shooting when he starts to block or you will just wait your 
bullets.  Wait just a few seconds after he blocks and you will be able to hit 
him again.  Use strong attacks when in close and try to stomp him on the 
ground.  You'll most likely miss the stomp, but he does not retaliate with any 
type of move so it's safe to try for the most part.  Try to use the light 
attack kick while he is on the ground if you can't get him with the strong 
attack.

You MUST return to the Pier District if you want the "Pier Targets" side 
mission since you will not have access to it after the next big fight.

CHECKPOINT!

This battle gets deadlier and deadlier as it goes.  It starts off simple enough 
with only a few blue ballers.  Eventually a glow head blue baller will jump 
into the battle and others will follow later.  They are slightly unstoppable, 
but can still be thrown and knocked down.  Weasel will be throwing grenades 
around the area throughout this whole battle.  Starting out, he will only throw 
a few grenades, but toward the end he will litter the screen with grenades as 
if he's trying to be the next Rolento.  To make matters worse, the glow heads 
will sometimes charge after you with a grenade in their hands.  This battle can 
get extremely deadly toward the end with the number of grenades on the screen, 
especially if you get knocked down.  Try to avoid the grenades by staying to 
the sides.  Constantly move the camera to make sure that you are not moving 
toward a grenade.  Use the Shotguns and SMG's to help you take all the enemies 
down faster.  Try to throw the glow heads near a grenade to finish them 
quickly.

After you have taken out enough blue ballers a cutscene will start and an 
interrogation scene will start right after the cutscene.  Make sure that you 
are ready for the interrogation scene, because if you are not then you will 
have to go through that entire battle again!  Just like last time, tap the 
strong button until it prompts you to tap the light attack button.  The 
opportunity to press the light attack button is much smaller this time, so be 
ready!

The Pier District is now swamped with glow heads and Punx!  Move ahead and 
fight through the groups of enemies.  In the area where the Punx ambush you, 
look off to the side (between some carts) for a first aid kit.  Run to the 
lighthouse to meet up with Guy.  Guy will join you and then you and him must 
make your way to the factory across from the train yard.  You will have to 
fight through a few more Punx and glow heads, but Guy will help you out pretty 
well.  Enter the fish-packing plant on the other side of the gate.  Grab the 
shotgun beside the dumpster before entering.

== Fish-Packing Plant ==

Chefs will attack along with plenty of guards.  Stay away from the conveyor 
belts when you see the bright red light flash or you will be hit with a crate. 
Use the usual mix of combos and throws to keep the enemies from ganging up on 
you and Guy.

After the fight, Guy will tell you to take the freight elevator. Grab the 
shotgun and press the button to the side.  Solve the security access panel code 
to get it moving.

Run over to the machine gun turret (press the grab button to use it) and fire 
away on all the guards that enter through the doors.  Try as much as you can to 
stay on the machine gun turret.  Turn around frequently to make sure that no 
enemies are trying to rush you.  Fire at the boxes on the left side of the room 
(left from where you entered) until you reveal a glowing space.  Destroy the 
crates around the room for plenty of items.  When the enemies stop coming after 
you, enter the vent at the glowing space.

Boss - Stiff Death

The Stiff has tons of moves this round and basically all of his moves cannot be 
blocked.  When he kneels down to the ground that means he is about to shoot out 
spikes all around the room.  If there is a table left, you can get behind it to 
avoid damage, but if not, you will need to watch the spikes shortly before they 
make it to you and dodge in between them.  Try to find guns around the room and 
unload on him any chance you get with the gun.  As he wrecks tables and other 
materials around the room, items will start to pop up here and there.  When he 
moves to the front controls he will tear out a wire and send a surge of 
electricity through his body that will stay for a few seconds.  During this 
time you cannot hit him physically and must use a gun.  He will eventually hit 
one of the containers to the side and unleash two rats that will run around the 
room.  Try as much as you can to kick each rat with the light attack button to 
stun them then stomp them with the strong attack button.  If the Stiff get his 
hands on either of the rats he will feed on it and restore his health.  Toward 
the end of the battle you will have to physically attack him with punches in 
order to damage him.  Be sure to use Instinct attacks.  Make sure to dodge out 
of the way of his attacks when you see him raise his arm back.  When he starts 
to ram you, don't even try to attack him, just dodge.  He will sometimes go up 
into the ceiling and release a row of spikes around the room - this can easily 
be avoided by running.

The streets are now swamped with glow heads!  These glow heads will come in 
many different varieties.  Be on the lookout for the glow heads with the 
grenades since they can take you out the quickest by holding a live grenade.  
You need to make your way to Bar Fly.  Go through the building while fighting 
the glow heads and try to go toward the Porn Theater.  Some more glow heads 
will attack.  After fighting them off some glow heads will knock down the fence 
to the side.  The glow head with the gray shirt is basically unstoppable and 
cannot be knocked down most of the time.  You can still take a decent amount of 
damage from him with strong attacks, but your hit will not phase him until his 
life is all the way gone.  The glow head with orange shirt will constantly try 
to ram you and will fall down every attempt - stomp on him with strong attacks 
while he is down.

Grab the fire extinguisher ahead and put out the flames next to the hole in the 
building ahead.  Destroy the debris and go through the opening to the other 
side.  Put out the flames down the alley up ahead and destroy the debris.  You 
will find tons of glow heads up ahead.  Try to keep an eye out for the bigger 
glow heads when they arrive in the area and defeat them first.  Be on the 
lookout for the one that likes to ram.  Move the van up ahead by using the grab 
button then tapping strong attack until Kyle pushes it over.  Run over to 
Barfly and try to enter.

First of all, let me say this, it is extremely vital that you go out of your 
way at this part to make sure that no glow heads get next to 2-ill or Vanessa. 
These glow heads are very lethal and will kill Vanessa and 2-ill in seconds if 
you allow them to get next to them.  Go back the way you came from.  You will 
need to move another van out of the way after you go down the alley and arrive 
at the wrecked building.  Make sure to defeat the glow heads before moving the 
van.  Grab the shotgun under the van and get ready for another wave of glow 
heads on the other side.  If you run across a single glow head hit him with the 
physical attacks, but if you start to get swamped then shoot!  Things can get 
really ugly in the area ahead with the sheer amount of big glow heads.  Try to 
shoot the big glow heads as they appear in the area and be sure to shield 
Vanessa and 2-ill as much as possible.  They seem to go for 2-ill the most 
since he will attack them, but stay close to both of them.  Go through the door 
of the building up ahead to enter 2-ill's hideout.

== Little Italy ==

Run up ahead to where Sgt. Sims is to activate a cutscene.

Tons and tons of glow heads will ambush you and Sgt. Sims after the cutscene.  
Sgt. Sims is immortal for the time being so you don't have to worry about 
keeping him safe.  There will be plenty of weapons scattered around the area so 
this fight shouldn't be too much of a problem.  Grab a shotgun to help you take 
out the glow heads much quicker.  There is a first aid kit to the right and 
don't forget about the Capcola machine to the side.  After the battle, grab the 
strongest weapon you have access to and enter the church.

== Church ==

Boss - Weasel War

This can be hard if you don't kill him quick.  He will shoot his Gatlin Gun at 
you constantly while you run around the area.  Get behind a tree or tombstone 
to avoid his gunfire.  The trees will not last that long at all so you can only 
take cover behind them once most of the time.  I have noticed that if you stand 
far away from the tree, but still stand behind, it seems as if the tree will 
last longer.  The tombstone can take quite a bit more damage than a tree.  To 
hit Weasel, you will have to shoot him with a gun or throw a cocktail or 
grenade at him.  There are plenty of weapons lying around the area for you to 
use.  The cocktail will cause him to stagger and he will fire his gun up in the 
air leaving him wide open to gunfire.  Make sure to run up to him and throw the 
cocktail or you will miss.  Try to mainly use grenades, cocktails, and SMG's to 
wear him down.  Shotguns take off a good bit of health, but leave you wide 
open.  If you run out of obstacles to hide behind during the battle try to stay 
far off in the distance when he shoots and angle up with a lamp post so that 
his gunfire hits the post.

== Church ==

Walk down the corridor.  You'll probably need that first aid kit on the floor. 
Go through the door at the end.

To start things off, grab one of the two shotguns found around the room.  Make 
sure that you stay moving the whole time during this battle unless you are 
attacking him or grabbing a weapon.  Wait for him to do his dashing somersault 
stab toward you while you are running then stop and hit him with two light 
attacks followed by a shotgun blast.  Any other time you will have to just 
shoot him normally with the shotgun.  After both shotguns are gone, run around 
the room and hit him with a three hit strong attack combo after his dashing 
somersault stab or after his rotating blade move.  Make sure to hold down the 
instinct button while hitting him to make your attacks take off more.  Do not 
target him while attacking since that will take too long and most likely get 
you hit.  His other attacks are much too quick for you to hit him afterwards.  
Don't even bother with the grenades around the room since they only take off a 
small fraction and most likely will only get you killed.

A cutscene will take place after the battle.

CHECKPOINT!

Boss - Pestilence

This boss takes a bit of patience to beat since you must make sure that you 
will not take damage while damaging him.  At the start of the battle run up to 
him and pound away with the strong attack button.  Dodge to his right side or 
directly away from him if he tries to take a swing at you.  He will constantly 
leave some slime around the area that will damage you if you touch it.  The 
slime will eventually go away, but there will be tons more coming behind it.  
He will eventually start to shoot out pods of slime.  The pods will be your 
main way of damaging him.  Pick one of them up with the grab button and toss it 
at him to take a fair chunk of his life.  The pods of slime will eventually 
explode and leave slime on the floor.  If you physically attack him, be sure to 
attack from the side or from the front since his back end will always drip 
slime.  Whenever he starts to shake, get away from him because he is about to 
release tons of slime all around him - he will mainly do this when you are 
close.  He will throw three limbs at you from a distance and will start to 
throw more as the battle progresses.  Be sure to hit him physically a few times 
to boost up your instinct meter for the next battle.

After the first part of the battle he will shed all the body parts that were on 
him and start a whole new phase of attacks.  He is much faster this time and 
will mainly try to hit you by using his body slime to hit you.  If you have low 
life, then do not try to hit him yet.  Wait for him to run over and grab a 
bench from the side.  He will dash after you and try to smash you with it.  
Thankfully a first aid kit will be lying where the bench was.  Lead him away 
from it before attempting to grab it.  He will do this throughout the battle 
and will sometimes leave behind an SMG.  The only times you can really hit him 
physically, during this second battle, is directly after the move where he 
holds slime in each hand and pounds his hands together or when he does a three 
hit combo.  Hit him with strong instinct attacks after the slime pound and 
after he does the final overhead punch of the three hit combo.  He will 
sometimes hit you before you finish, but if you keep pounding away on him he 
should go down pretty quickly.  Be sure to take advantage of the SMGs for some 
extra damage on him.

A cutscene will play after the battle and you will then fight the final boss of 
the game.

Boss - ???? Death

I will just refer to this boss as Death to avoid spoilers and yes, I know 
Father Bella goes by a different name now, but I will still refer to his old 
name to avoid spoilers as well.

The first part of this battle is pretty easy, although you will most likely get 
hit a few times.  Death will always walk slowly toward you.  The only move that 
you have to look out for from long range is his ground shockwave.  He will 
punch the ground and send a current of green flames toward you.  This is an 
excellent way to make him break the crates around the area so you can get the 
weapons and items inside.  The only way you can really hit him is to run by him 
and make him attack you then attack him from the back as he recovers.  You can 
also get good at dodging his moves then dodge right behind him and hit from the 
back, but that is a little risky.  Use strong instinct attack combos and you 
will take his life down very quickly.  Sometimes after an attack he will hold 
his hand over his head and fight off the drug - that is your cue to unload on 
him with combos.

For the second fight, Death's attacks will remain the same, but he will gain 
one new attack where he will hold his hands up in the air and green fire will 
rain down in the area around him.  Father Bella will be running around the side 
of the church while throwing grenades during your fight with Death this time.  
Try to lure Death into one of the grenades and it will take about 25% of his 
life.  Father Bella will also try to hit you with a rocket from his rocket 
launcher.  Look for the circle to form around you then move to the side to 
avoid it.  Death can be taken out much easier this time.  His life gauge will 
drain incredibly fast when you attack him.  The only problem is that you need 
to defeat Father Bella in order to win this battle.  When you have defeated 
Death, Father Bella will step off the side of the roof and try to blast you 
with his machine gun.  When he starts this, try to run to his left when you are 
close to him since he will always start firing to the right and hit him with a 
combo (use the instinct button).  Once he is knocked to the ground he will try 
to retaliate with a Katana slice.  If you keep pressing the attack button you 
may be able to counter his slice and knock him back down.  Try as much as you 
can to keep Father Bella away from Death.  If he gets next to Death, he will 
revive him and then get back on the side of the roof.  Be sure to hit him a few 
more times while he tries to escape after reviving Death even if you have take 
damage from Death while he attacks.  The best way to defeat Father Bella is to 
find the shotgun or the handgun that will be inside of one of the crates.  Put 
the gun up until Father Bella jumps down to revive Death then unload on him 
with gunfire.  If you find yourself far away from Father Bella while he is 
about to fire his machine gun, bet behind the cross in the middle of the area 
to avoid the bullets.

After the battle, the ending cutscenes will play.

garbage dumpster to find them beating up on the kid.  The kid will run back to 
his sister after you have disposed of the thugs.  Go back to the hooker to get 
your reward.

"Purse Mugging"

Location: Chapter 1 - Kyle's Hood - Talk to the woman with the green shirt 
behind the gate, across from Kyle's Apartment.

The thugs that took her purse are right down the alley where Fight Club is

can from the side and walk down the alley.  The thug at the end will run to 
join his buds.  Walk up to them and throw the can to instantly take one of them 
out.  Fight off the remaining thugs with combos mixed with grabs and they will 
cough up the purse.  Return to the woman for a reward.

that any wooden bat will do so you don't have to buy one.

Reward = He will take the bat then run into Boomer's Electronics & Music.  
Chase him into Boomer's, but be careful since he will try to whack you with the 
bat as soon as you enter.  He will most likely take off.  Talk to the owner of 
Boomer's for Side Mission #11, which you can complete by following the man with 
the bat.  Follow the thief into the Pawn Shop and beat him down to get the 
Stereo for Side Mission #11.  Be sure to hit him with the bat for the final 
hit...the bastard.

thugs.  Help the policemen defeat the thugs and collect the three bottles of 
wine from their bodies.  Give the bottles to the shopkeeper of the Liquor store 
for your reward.

message you can defeat the thugs in the alley.  Talk to the guy with the 
briefcase afterward and then go back to the diner and talk to the guy with the 
black coat to end this mission.

a trashcan on the ground and throwing it toward the ones on the boxes can hit 
the trashcans on top of the boxes.  You don't need to destroy the trashcans on 
top this time, but it doesn't hurt to practice because you will have to do this 
on a later side mission.

"Baller Bomber"

Location: Chapter 4 - Kyle's Hood - Talk to the police officer near the Porn 
Theater.  This mission is also available in Chapter 3 after checking Cody's

After talking with the police officer, run down the street to your left and 
talk to the first guy you come across with the black jacket behind Tiger's Gym. 
Talk to him, then attack him until he only has a bit of life left and he will 
tell you what you want to know.  DO NOT kill him or the side mission will end 
in failure.  Hit him jabs when he is low in life.  

It seems the Ballers are smuggling the weapons you need in the Porn Theater so 
head there.  Defeat the Blue Ballers in front of the theater to get the THEATER 
KEY then go inside.  Defeat the first set of Blue Ballers then go inside the 
sitting area and defeat the rest.  Be sure to take out the thugs with the guns 
first.  One of the Blue Ballers will drop the weapons you need.  Take the 
weapons back to the police officer for your reward.

"Magic Cards, Pt.3"

Location: Chapter 3 - Pier District - After checking Cody's apartment, talk to 
the guy standing in front of the building across the street from Pier Pressure 
Bar.

After talking with the guy, walk over to the subway.  Follow the thug that runs 
near the entrance of the subway.  Some other thugs will step in front of you, 
but keep up with the one that is running.  When he stops, the scene will shift 
to Kyle inside of their warehouse hideout.  Fight off all the thugs (use 
constant throws).  Be sure to keep them from ganging around since there are 
quite a few of them.  After you defeat them, exit the subway and go back to the 
guy to collect your reward.

"Run Kyle, run!"

Location: Chapter 3 - Pier District - After checking Cody's apartment, talk to 
the middle policeman who is shooting at the thugs in the trainyard to the right 
of Hotel Bijou.

You might want to go to the building on the right and get 2-ill to help you for 
this one.

Follow the policeman and protect him on his way to a phone booth.  He holds his 
on ground pretty well, but be sure to keep the thugs away from him.  The first 
phone will be out of order, but the second phone will work.  The thugs will 
approach you in a much greater number the second time.

"Captain Jack's Booty"

Location: Chapter 3 - Pier District - After checking Cody's apartment, talk to 
the guy behind the counter of Cap'n Cadaver's Pawn Shop.

Exit the Pawn Shop and head toward the lighthouse.  Talk to the guy behind the 
lighthouse in the black business suit.  Kyle will persuade the business man to 
hand over the cargo.  On your way back to the pawn shop a thug will steal the 
cargo from you.  Chase him to the back alley of Hotel Bijou and fight off the 
thug and his friends to get the cargo back.  Take the cargo back to the guy at 
the Pawn Shop to get your reward.

different set of cards after you have missed once unless you know where one of 
the other cards match is already at.  You will gain an extra mismatch limit per 
correct pair.

stay near the guy you are protecting and use constant throws to knock the whole 
group of thugs down.

out for every trashcan on top of a crate - toward the end it can be hard to run 
around and find the last trashcan since the limit will be very low.

Tattoo Parlor for your reward.

again.  Make sure to keep a sharp eye out for the groups of two ducks.  There 
will be two rows of two ducks that will enter near the end to try to throw your 
aim off.
