Burnout demo beefed up with new mode

Jan 4, 2008

EA has boosted the online servers for its Burnout Paradise demo, doubling the number of players in a race from four to eight. Sweet.

This comes as part of temporary enhancements made to the demo's online gameplay, which will last from today until January 14.

In addition to the increased number of online players, EA has also added 13 new Freeburn challenges. That's "3 challenges in 5, 6 and 7 player sessions, and 4 new challenges for those playing in 8 player sessions," EA explains.

These updates apply to the demo available on both the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace.
