Does Masters of the Universe have a post-credits scene?
Yes. Not only does it have a post-credits scene, Masters of the Universe has three post-credits scenes during and after the credits. The first plays almost immediately after the first title card, the second rolls midway through the credits, and the third happens at the very end of the credits, so you'll want to stay till lights up for this one.
If you want to know what happens in all three scenes, head below for our full breakdown – but beware, spoilers await!
What happens in the Masters of the Universe post-credits scenes? *Spoilers*
The first Masters of the Universe credits scene is a fun nod to a missing character from the original He-Man Filmation cartoon. Yes, Orko pops up to explain the message of the movie, straight to camera, in case you didn't get it already. "In today's story," Orko says, "We saw muscles don't necessarily make a man." We don't see Orko interact with any other characters from the movie, but maybe he'll finally meet Adam in any sequel.
The second Masters of the Universe credits scene is the most significant, and plays around the middle of the credits. After Adam/He-Man reclaims Eternos, Queen Marlena (Charlotte Riley) and Duncan/Man-at-Arms (Idris Elba) are discussing a mystery person. "I'd given up hope," says Marlena. "Perhaps one day she'll come back to us too," replies Duncan. We then cut to somewhere else in Eternia, as a familiar sword starts to materialize out of thin air. Fans will spot straight away that this is the Sword of Protection, and the person holding it is none other than She-Ra.

The beloved character is only seen from behind, but appears to be wearing a cartoon-faithful costume, complete with a red cape. There's even a musical Easter egg in the form of a quick blast of the She-Ra: Princess of Power theme. Someone else is there with She-Ra, who asks: "Force Captain Adora?" To which She-Ra replies: "No, not anymore." A quick explanation for anyone not up on their He-Man lore: Adora is Adam's twin sister. As an infant, she was kidnapped by Hordak, leader of the Evil Horde, and taken to Eternia's sister planet, Etheria. Before learning her true identity, Adora rises through the ranks to become a Force Captain in the Horde. This brief exchange suggests that Adora is returning to Eternia after her experience in Etheria, and has already learnt the truth, rejecting her position as Force Captain to become She-Ra. It's a safe bet that She-Ra will be a central figure in any Masters of the Universe sequel.
The third and final bonus scene is a true post-credits tease, so don't leave till the very end! Back in Castle Grayskull, a defeated Evil-Lyn (Alison Brie) is still skulking around. After spotting Skeletor's disembodied head on the floor, she picks it up and quips, "I must say, you've looked better." Cut to black, and the familiar cackle of Skeletor can be heard. Could Evil-Lyn find a way to restore Skeletor to his former glory for another round with He-Man?
