Calibur11’s official Battlefield 3 Vault for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 is now available to pre-order. Like the recently released Gears of War 3 Vault, the Battlefield-themed case is designed to protect your console from the ravages of everyday gaming and claims to improve cooling by increasing airflow to your system.
Of course, the main reason we’d even consider picking up this case is because it looks cool – really, really, cool. The smoke colored finish, grenade, and claymore look slick – and if you’re willing to cough up an extra $17.99 you can get one with a customized nameplate.
The case itself will sell for the suggested retail price of $89.99, but GameStop is also offering a Battlefield 3 for PS3 bundle that will include the game, the Vault, and a code to download the Battlefield 3 Physical Warfare Pack. The GameStop bundle is priced at $99.99. So if you were considering picking up a Battlefield 3 Vault for the PS3, you might as well get the bundle for just ten dollars more.
Battlefield 3 is scheduled to launch on October 25 in North America for the 360, PS3, and PC. It will release in Europe on October 28.
