Battlefield 3 tank stunt is amazing, has to be seen to be believed

Here we have an impressive display of unconventional ballistics courtesy of Battlefield 3 and some imaginative players. Have a watch:

Even more impressive is the fact that, apparently, this was the first attempt. Nice work.

That was pretty cool almost as cool as launching your friend across the map on Caspian Border by firing them off of a tank. I did that a couple of times and it was so funny I would literally skid on the floor while in prone you had to rubber band your controller and then leave it alone for a minute or two while wedged up against a rock pointing uphill and you would launch them well over 100 meters... That is all before they patched it a while back...

Whilst impressive and amsuing I doubt how practical it would be to do this in a real game :)

This is just like Bad Company 2, where if you put enough C4 under a friendly buggy, you can blow it so high that the person on it will get a suicide from going out-of-bounds.

I used to think I was pretty good at handling tanks on BF3, but this... my skills have been put to shame. Pretty epic vid.

    That was pretty freaking epic!

Gonna have to try that next time I play.

The fact that it does an almost perfect full rotation in the air is amazing. Bit of bounce on the landing, but you can't have everything! *holds up a 9 scorecard*

what is this the fucking olympics? lets see you stick a perfect landing.

    Shows off the unrealistic physics.
  • ObliqueZombie - November 22, 2012 7:41 a.m.

If games succumbed to realistic physics, they wouldn't be fun.

Agreed and seconded, thank you Oblique!

Have to say, that was mighty impressive!
