Is Assassin's Creed ever going to star a female assassin?
  • Evanesco - June 18, 2012 5:36 p.m.

Did you read the last slide?
  • gravespy720 - June 20, 2012 9:45 a.m.

Yes. The PS Vita version is. It's called Assassin's Creed: Liberation, taking place in New Orleans.

"Further information reveals that he's actually half Native American - the son of a Mohawk Native American woman and a British man." Cool, so he's actually a mestizo Assassin!
  • Project93FTW - March 5, 2012 5:08 a.m.

It's actually a Métis Assassin. :) I know because im native.
  • FinderKeeper - March 5, 2012 9:32 p.m.

    + > 9,000... ;-)
  • TypicalNative - March 19, 2012 11:18 p.m.

Actually, no. The Metis people are half native and half French, not British. I know because I'm native ;)
  • renwuying - September 7, 2012 12:30 a.m.

Métis just means mestizo in French. According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary: "mestizo: a person of mixed blood; specifically : a person of mixed European and American Indian ancestry" So, Connor can accurately be described as a mestizo ;)

Should compare the free mason symbol to his 'A's...
  • cesarhpaiz - March 3, 2012 1:56 p.m.

Stop me if i'm wrong. But I think that the eagle that's on the crest is also the same eagle that Desmond has printed on his shirt. Another connection with the present assassin.

The best part is the tree climbing part.

  • Klodz - March 3, 2012 5:12 a.m.

could have sworn the Mohawks were on the British side...
  • Jacko415 - March 3, 2012 5:06 p.m.

You're right. But that just makes the story even better. His father was british and mother was mohawk. Somethings gonna happen to make him side with america.
  • chucky2k - March 5, 2012 10:36 a.m.

My prediction is that with a Mohawk mother and a British father his reason for siding with America is because he is being mislead by them. Maybe he was kiddnapped by templars as a child and raised as the ultimate double agent. I imagine this to be the "big twist" of this game. It just doesn't seem right that an Assassin who fights for freedom and equality for all would side with either America or Britain (both slave owning nations at the time)
  • FinderKeeper - March 5, 2012 9:34 p.m.

And neither having a particularly shining record with the various American Indian nations, Mohawk included.

*Spolier? Sort of? I guess? But not Really? Stated by Ubisoft* In some point of the story, his village is attacked and destroyed, which is when he joins the Assassin Brotherhood (Age 15). He doesn't end up fighting on a 'side' of the Revolutionary war, he just kills Templars. There are going to be more on the British side because the British had a lot of power, which is what Templars crave. There will still be some on the 'American' side though, in case you were wondering.
