Are your Street Fighter skills worth cold, hard cash? Pull off an insanely long combo and prove it

Prove you're as sickeningly good as this guy and he'll pay you

You may have heard of Street Fighter player Biffotasty (aka Desk) before. He's the unnecessarily-skilled guy who completed all of Ryu's Super SFIV trialsusing one hand a while ago. Well now he's back, with another stupidly hardcore feat, and this time, if you can equal it, he'll pay you.

Your challenge? A nonsensical 126-hit Chun-Li combo, comprising 125 button inputs and an Ultra Combo finish.

The rules? The combo must be replicated exactly, with no tool assistance, no ininite meter settings and no button bindings. You must provide video evidence of your feat, with hands and screen footage in the same frame, and you must upload the clip unlisted to Desk's YouTube channel via a personal message. By 22:00 GMT on the 27th of October. If you're the first to prove you've nailed it, you'll get $50. If no-one pulls it off, there'a a $20 prize for anything particularly special.

Ah, read it wrong-I thought he was going to give anyone who did it by the set time fifty bucks and not just the first! Oh, well, makes sense now-he can make it easy if he's only paying out the once can't he!? What a crock! Put SOMETHING on the line mr biffotastysack! And make it tough AND pay anyone with a sack as big as yours!

While it seems hard to me I've also got a few mates who think that this is asking to lose a bunch of cash really quickly. They all seem positive a whole boatload of decent SF gamers will be able to do this pretty easily-IDK but they seem certain most of them could have a decent pop at it and having seen them battering each other and humiliating the likes of me I tend to think they could be right and this bloke ain't given the everyday SF massive nuff 'spec!!

I don't know, how does he really count 126 hits? Agreed its over 99 but human counting over that is somewhat arbitrary. I still think he's right around 126 but sometimes just adding what what two combos do individually doesn't agree with the in-game count.

@ FrozenImplosion: It may look that way, but unlike other fighting games Street Fighter requires you to press an attack button at a precise moment in order to do what was mentioned above as "frame links" and continue a combo...This would most likely never be done on an actual player, especially online with lag.

I gotta agree, some people take this WAY too seriously. I mean, hats off to this guy being able to pull that kind of stuff off, but playing against people that skilled is no fun. Street Fighter is not meant for beginners or to be enjoyed casually.

@shanecedt you quit because some people take the game seriously? Isn't that every online multiplayer game? I think there are competitive people everywhere on every game. Don't see how that would stop anyone...

@ShaneCedt Every game probably has some people who take it that seriously. Me? I'm so intimidated by the 2D fighting game genre as a whole that I don't dare touch any one of them

Looks hard (and probably is), but it's actually fairly simple and straight forward. There were only two FADC's, the rest was just quick timing on the legs.

This shit is why I stopped playing Street Fighter. It was a nice nostalgia trip, but some people out there take this game way too seriously.
