Are you ready for some GTA Online FOOTBALL? The latest event week for the online crime doings game is handing out double GTA$ and Reputation Points for playing in one of three gridiron-inspired Adversary Modes from now through September 15. What better way to celebrate the start of the NFL season? Aside from actually watching the games, I mean.
The three featured Adversary Modes are Running Back II, Cross the Line IV, and Inch by Inch III. As usual, you can start playing them right from the GTA 5 loading screen or by selecting the event playlist from the pause menu. And there a bunch of special event discounts, too.
First off, for all you poor land-based individuals, there's a 50-percent-off sale on all Galaxy Super Yachts. Don't ask me why you'd buy the (relatively) puny Orion for $3 million when the massive Aquarius is now just $4 million, but I suppose it's nice to have options. There's also a 25 percent discount on Yacht interior decorations. The same discounts apply to all properties, with 50 percent off for apartments or offices and 25 percent off on their decor and mods.
If you'd like to pick up some speed, you can take 25 percent off on upgrading your Bravado Banshee to the 900R variant at Benny's Original Auto Works. I still have fond feelings toward Banshees from repeatedly stealing that one in the car dealership back in GTA 3, so that sounds like a heck of a deal. For more air transport options you can order the grabby grabby Cargobob and well-armed Valkyrie for 50 percent off - the Humane Labs Raid Heist completion requirement has been temporarily waived for the latter.
Last up is this week's Premium Stunt Race: the high-stakes competition has been moved to the Downtown Loop track, and the car of choice is your beautiful new Banshee 900R. Try not to twist up those pretty lines by slamming it into the side of a skyscraper, ok?
