12 more Easter eggs from Call of Duty: Black Ops

One guide wasn't enough

They got the Rolling Stones in there. They got Creedence Clearwater Revival, too. Without the presence of the decade's biggest cultural phenomenon, however, can we really be sure this game takes place during the 1960s? Where are The Beatles?

Oh. Sure, that'll do.

Call of Duty: Top Gear

Here's a relatively obscure Easter egg that we might just be imagining. In the mission Crash Site, you'll pass a bunch of soldiers on your way to the river boat. Some are snapping photographs, some are guarding prisoners and some are walking patrol. If you take a closer look at the latter group, you'll notice that two of these soldiers – Private Hammond and Private Clarkson – share their names with hosts of Top Gear, a popular British TV series about cars.

Coincidence? Yeah, probably.
