Zoe Saldana shares behind-the-scenes peek of Guardians of the Galaxy 2

It's fair to assume that we all cannot wait for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, after James Gunn's original was so darn awesome. So here's a sneak peek from star Zoe Saldana of her amazing character transformation. Check out her tweet below...

In case you're confused thinking you've just seen the early behind-the-scenes of the upcoming Slimer in the Ghostbuster reboot, think again. This is obviously Gamora, the-daughter-of-Thanos-turned-hero of the 2014 film that wowed audiences and took Marvel to a whole new level with its CGI, action and comedy (thank you Chris Pratt!).

The tweet shows a number of cool images of how her make-up and prosthetics are achieved, and it looks like it must take hours. We'd never sit still for that long. And in answer to Saldana's teasing question, yes we are ready for another one!

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 picks up with Pratt's cocky but loveable Starlord and the rest of the cast, including Dave Batista as Draxx the Destroyer, and the perfect voices of Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel as Rocket and Groot respectively.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, directed by Gunn and starring Pratt, Saldana, Cooper, Diesel and Batista, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will hit UK cinemas on April 28 2017 and the US on May 5 2017.
