Warzone 2 Season 2 roadmap: Resurgence, new map and more weapons

The Warzone 2 Season 2 roadmap is here, laying out when all the new content for Warzone, DMZ, and Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer is arriving throughout Season 2. Once the update is live, you'll be able to dive into Resurgence mode, drop into the new Ashika Island map, and get some new weaponry via the battle pass. While there's plenty to check out with the Warzone 2 Season 2 update as it launches on February 15, there are more things coming later in the season too, including new party modes for Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer, Episode 2 of the Raid and redeploy drones on Ashika Island. Here's all the new content laid out in the Warzone 2 Season 2 roadmap and when you can expect to see it in the game.

Warzone 2 roadmap for Season 2

The new Warzone 2 update that launches Season 2 arrives on February 15 at 9am PST/12pm EST/5pm GMT/6pm CET, introducing a new small map, the return of Resurgence, and other gameplay updates. Some new features and updates will arrive in the middle of Season 2 with the midseason patch while others will be added at an undisclosed time during Season 2. For example, you can get four of the six new Warzone 2 Season 2 weapons at launch, but a Marksman Rifle and Lethal Equipment Item will be arriving after the Warzone update. Here are the major additions coming in Warzone 2 Season 2:

• Dual Kodachis Melee Weapon – Available in Season 2 Battle Pass for free
• Crossbow – Must complete all Path of the Ronin challenges to unlock or buy premium pack
• Path of the Ronin event – Starts with Season 2 launch, ends later in the season
