You can't play Uncharted on an Xbox 360 or a PC. But you will 'soon' be able to buy Adventurer from The Farm 51, a Polish developer with an apparent penchant for jungles, treasure and, well, adventure. To our eyes, it looks for all the world like a new entry in Naughty Dog's seminal series. But the biggest difference? It's a first-person shooter.

The rest is pretty much exactly the same. Let's point out some similarities, shall we?
Puzzle sections that look like they're straight out of Golden Abyss...

Icy environs with a wrecked ship...

A crashed plane...

And two main characters who look a bit like...

And lots of hidden treasure!
Above: Reminds us of BioShock or even Dead Island. But better than Dead Island already
Here's a developer diary video which contains footage from the game. Sadly, although it says 'Polish Language version' in the title, there doesn't seem to be an English language version in their YouTube channel. So, unless you can understand Polish, you'll have to work out for yourself what's going on. And which one's meant to be Sully.
We're not going to say they're treading on thin ice by releasing a game so similar to Uncharted. After all, it is a first-person shooter at heart which seems to have several elements close to both BioShock and even Skyrim, so we doubt Sony would have a significant leg to stand on if they made a legal objection.
Assuming it all goes ahead, we're actually very keen to play this. The Farm 51's track record may not be Triple-A, with the likes of NecroVisioN to its name, but it's not terrible either. A first-person Uncharted-esque adventure only really needs to be competent to be compelling - and this certainly looks competent (that mo-cap stuff in the video looks super-slick). Oh, and it does have one thing that Uncharted doesn't have...
